Nicholas Kristoff just said that in the first day of a Korean war 1 million would die according to studies. Talking about risk of war with Trump in power. CNN Kristoff also said the the North Koreans broadcast every counterpunch Trump delivers to Um Kim Jong Un because it plays into kju hands.

First about agreeing to end the Korean War, then about nukes.
Remember, it was us who came Harry Truman's approval from nuking them and maybe China.
BTW, anyone that think China will let us decimate and ally of that country on it's doorstep really isn't playing with a full deck.

Even if dead and maimed are contained, it will throw the world into economic hell with the constant threat of worldwide nuclear destruction.
Even conventional war on scale needed to protect S Korea -- once bombs start flying -- will be destructive.
Screw Trump and his need to appear tough.

I am guessing the Le May plan might work (I think it was his) Nuc the NK border. Solves two problems, keeps NK from fleeing to China and keeps the Chinese from crossing to save them. Then let the SK march North. :whistling:

and our use of them prevented us from having to invade Japan to end the war they started and is estimated to have saved more lives than were lost in the bombing of Hiroshima and Nagasaki.
Since the end of WWII, we have shown restraint and maintained a nuclear arsenal to maintain a balance of force on par with our enemies to prevent a nuclear war.
Now you have the leader of N korea who just recently obtained nukes and is just itching to use them because he feels he was slighted.
Big difference DUmmy.
