Time for your flu shot, everyone.
Some cases of the flu are being reported in major metro areas, like Minneapolis St. Paul, MN. It's not widespread, but it's out there. I stopped in today to get my vaccination. I'm an old fart, so I got the high-dose shot with an adjuvant that reinforces the body's reaction. That's recommended for everyone over 65.
The flu shot is covered by all insurance coverages, including Medicare, another benefit of the ACA, which mandates coverage for most preventive immunizations.
As a side note, the nurse practitioner at the Minute Clinic I went to asked if I also wanted a "cootie shot." I said, "Sure." So, "Circle, circle, dot, dot. Now I have my cootie shot."
Cute.
I think a lot of people know this already Rockhead.

Bathing also prevents cooties :thatsright: :loser:

Uh, Obamacare didn't bring in coverage for flu shots. Those were already covered. Nice try.

The only ones I ever see getting the flu are people that got the flu shot.

That's what happened to my wife last year. She was out for a week.

Same thing happened to me the first AND last time I got one...
Haven't had the flu, either...

That's why the shots are free, then they can sell you medication to cure it.
It is a gubermint conspiracy, read all about it on the Palmer Report.

He'd fit right in with The Weather Channel.

That is pretty dumb. The number of people who get the flu from having a flu shot is essentially zero. The flu strain that is infected is a DEAD form of the virus that could not infect you even if you got a transfusion AND bathed in it. if someone gets the flu after getting the vaccine it is a different strain and that is unrelated to the vaccination.
The most prevalent negative reaction from the flu shot is SEVERE egg allergy reactions and even that is infinitesimal.
This is a conservative board. Do not spread nonsense unless you are being sarcastic, which I could not detect from your post.

Not from the shot.
See my post.

All I can tell you is the one time I got a flu shot, I got the flu, and in the DECADES since then, no shots AND no flu.
Coincidence perhaps, but factual nonetheless...

Then, the virus mutated.
