i have no empathy for conservative republicans suffering in texas
when scientist told us years ago that weather would become more intense due to the carbon excess and the republican/conservatives in Texas ...poopooed that educated group and the cons did not expect this? Just wait I predict there will be more. Several years ago the powers in Texas decided not to include critical thinking in school classes...thinking might cause problems for the powers that be
The hatred... do they really not see it?

16. No excuse for the idiot deniers. In this day and age with all the info
Some of these people are old enough to know better.

3. I'll save sympathy for the ones who realize that climate change
is one thing that caused that storm to stall, pick up part of the Caribbean, and dump it on Texas. If they come that far, there is hope.

27. BINGO! dfl
Coastal east Texas is in deep serious. They will be years recovering.
The uncontrolled development (impervious surfaces) over the past decades (which Texas is ‘famous’ for...no zoning) has wiped out thousands of square miles (not acres, miles) of wetlands and prairie. And now the chickens have come home to roost.
These people are effin nuts. Seriosuly... Texas caused a hurricane by developing wetlands.

65. Then by your thinking ( if it could be called that)
I should have left the 600 or so people in the rising flood waters. Maybe they would have died, maybe not.
I don't say this often but......**** YOU.
hahahaha! ok enough. They are freekin nuts I tell ya

The only good thing that might come from this storm for Houston is that some of the Katrina turds might finally get flushed away.
-
This is why normal people are sick of the gloBULL warming nonsense.
11 years of minimal hurricane activity means nothing but one storm is undeniable proof.
Science does not have things both ways.
Religious belief however is another matter.

Harvey showed Gaia's anger against Trump-voting Texas? Was Sandy a show of Gaia's anger against OhBummer! voters? And if Irma clobbers Hillary-voting NE US states?
After Katrina Warmistas were prophesying increasingly violent hurricane seasons, due to Global Worming. They should be glad Moses' law concerning false prophets is not in effect anymore.

Apparently this DUmmie doesn't understand that this part of Texas (Houston) is largely a democRAT bastion. Then again I would not expect the DUmmies to see or at least acknowledge the truth.

Harris County went ~55% for Hilliary.

We received just short of fifty (50) inches at my place.
I was fortunate not to flood.
Regardless of politics, religion or other differences, people helped each other. It's sad to see that it's such a foreign, contemptable concept to the primitives.
This goes to prove that Texans :texas: are far better Americans :usflag: than any feeble minded DUmpsquat.

Glad to see you checked in ok, Skul. I was wandering how you fared.

This is why their various exaggerated dramatized life tragedies and crises mean nothing to me. Not that I revel in or celebrate them, I just feel no empathy for them at all since they are such vile and horrid beasts themselves toward everyone who isn't on board the same short bus they ride. Sort of like that great meme "What do you feel when you shoot an animal?" Answer: "Recoil."

Disgusting, heartless vermin. It's all about politics for them, and wishing death on anyone who disagrees with them on any issue.

Along those lines, want to know the really funny/ ironic thing about the DUmmies and other liberal scum gloating over what's happening to Texas?
The areas hit hardest by Harvey were part of districts that largely voted for Hillary!
-
A guy whose YouTube videos I trust a lot on hurricane stuff, by the name of BPEarthwatch (he hasn't voiced any liberal tendencies in the two years I've been watching him), has the GFS Extended loop in a video . . . Which shows Irma roaring up the East Coast and hitting Long Island, then continuing into the mainland at the NY/CT border. 'Course, this would happen two weeks from now, and models lose accuracy five days or so out . . . :whistling:

'Tis true. Almost a week ago when Libs & Progs started spouting this A-Holery my BS-Meter was pegging - I remembered Houston's previous mayor, a lesbian who tried to use her power to strong-arm several theologically conservative churches, and figured she was unlikely to have been elected were Houston largely conservative. So I checked how Harris County voted in 2016, and found that Harris County voted for Hilliary by over 54% (I think it was close to 55%).
But Libs & Progs hate Texas, so facts don't matter. Nor the enormous effort the R Governor of Texas and R President of the US are expending to rescue and relieve people who voted against them - [Sarcasm] it's almost as if they saw themselves as serving their entire state and country and not just those who voted for them. [/Sarcasm]
