8. He'll donate it to one of his "foundations"
And 95% will go to administrative expenses and the rest will go to buy hats that will be distributed in Houston.

Oh irony.. why must you be so cruel

13. I'll believe he donated $1,000,000 when I see it as a deduction on his released tax returns. nt

So does the Orange Cheeto have the cash he claims, or not?  First you DUmmies say he didn't.  Now you're saying he did, when it suits your narrative to claim how stingy he is.

Let's not forget the 3/10ths of one percent Uncle Choo Choo made in charitable donations in 2008, primitives.

SO generous, you leftists are.  With other people's money.

Did they give that much grief to Robert Craft when he said that he will be donating 1MM dollars to the same charity?

When DU members, collectively, donate $1M they've earned right to say something about others' donations. Until then DU is an envy-driveling hovel of hypocrites.

In 1997, Al Gore a/k/a manbearpig gave a total of $353 to charity. I'm guessing he's even more stingy now.

Well they could always contact the SPLC for a handout. :-) Apparently they have plenty of cash stashed away.

Has anyone heard how much money Barry or Cankles gave?  I'm not even going to bother asking how much Slow Joe gave.  We all know the answer to that question.

Obumbles gave a few percent, can't remember what it was off the top of my head.  5% I want to say?  Before he was preznit he typically gave right at 1%.

Anything the Clintons gave can't be trusted.

Trump outlines where he'll send his $1 million for Harvey relief (http://www.chron.com/news/politics/texas/article/Trump-outlines-where-he-ll-send-his-1-million-12177874.php)

The White House solicited recommendations on where to donate from the White House Press Corps  after announcing last week Trump and First Lady Melania Trump would personally donate $1 million to Harvey relief.
Here's where the president plans to donate to:
Trending Politics Video

Red Cross – $300,000
Salvation Army – $300,000
Reach out America – $100,000
Samaritan's Purse – $100,000
ASPCA – $25,000
Catholic Charities – $25,000
Direct Relief – $25,000
Habitat for Humanity – $25,000
Houston Humane Society – $25,000
Operation Blessing – $25,000
Portlight Inclusive Disaster Strategies – $25,000
Team Rubicon – $25,000

Whole lot to PO DU-folk, especially the Salvation Army, Samaritan's Purse, Catholic Charities, and Operation Blessing.

Our Diocese is having a special collection at all of the Masses this weekend, for Catholic Charities of the Houston area.  I can imagine that there will be one for Puerto Rico/Bahamas/Florida/South Carolina soon.

As this Twitchy page (https://twitchy.com/brettt-3136/2017/09/06/tough-crowd-trump-announces-charities-to-which-hell-donate-toward-harvey-relief/?utm_campaign=twitchywidget) demonstrates, bunches of Libs/Progs are going full-anti-religious-bigot over so many of the recipient orgs being religious organizations. Well, guess what. They have the resources, they're efficient, they're effective, and they are there. And contrary to the Twitter-Bigots' insinuation, they don't discriminate in giving aid (Picture the absurdity ... a dude or dudette walks up to a Samaritan's Purse worker ... and before lifting a finger to help , the worker asks, "Are you gay/lesbian? Are you a ____? Are you a ____?" It takes a pretty sick bigot to imagine or even insinuate that this would happen! But maybe on DU ...).

Hope you all don't mind my bumping this thread. Doing so. IMO, contrasts DU-folks' and similar Progs' sneers and inactivity with reality. Onward to another trigger for DU-folk:

Christians Provide More Aid To Hurricane Victims Than FEMA (http://dailycaller.com/2017/09/10/christians-provide-more-aid-to-hurricane-victims-than-fema/)

Quote
Faith-based relief groups are responsible for providing nearly 80 percent of the aid delivered thus far to communities with homes devastated by the recent hurricanes, according to USA Today. An alliance of non-profit organizations called National Voluntary Organizations Active in Disaster (NVOAD), 75 percent of which are faith based, has helped FEMA distribute relief assistance to communities hit by disasters and assisted families in navigating government aid programs to begin the process of rebuilding.

“About 80 percent of all recovery happens because of non-profits, and the majority of them are faith-based,” Greg Forrester, CEO of NVOAD, told USA Today.

Several individual organizations have aided in the relief operations in major ways as well. Samaritan’s Purse, an evangelical disaster relief group led by evangelist Franklin Graham, recently began a relief mission to the Caribbean to help victims of the hurricanes on various islands. Samaritan’s Purse also has ongoing relief operations in Houston and is preparing to aid Florida in the aftermath of Irma.

Samaritan's Purse is one of the charities to which Trump donated, and is hated by many (most?) Progs (as seen in that Twitchy link above).

As the article indicates, FEMA and groups like Samaritan's Purse have cooperated (I wonder if that was permitted during Obama's Administration - I don't know, but it would be interesting to learn).
