The Southern Poverty Law Center (SPLC), a liberal, Alabama-based 501(c)(3) tax-exempt charitable organization that has gained prominence on the left for its "hate group" designations, pushes millions of dollars to offshore entities as part of its business dealings, records show.
Additionally, the nonprofit pays lucrative six-figure salaries to its top directors and key employees while spending little on legal services despite its stated intent of "fighting hate and bigotry" using litigation, education, and other forms of advocacy.
The Southern Poverty Law Center is perhaps best known for its "hate map," a collection of organizations the nonprofit deems "domestic hate groups" that lists mainstream conservative organizations alongside racist groups such as the Ku Klux Klan and is often referenced in the media. A gunman opened fire at the Washington, D.C., offices of the conservative Family Research Council in 2012 after seeing it listed as an "anti-gay" group on SPLC's website.
The Southern Poverty Law Center (SPLC) is a criminal organization. Why would they need to transfer money to offshore entities?

IMHO, they know that they're going to lose their collective shirts in the lawsuits against them, that have just been initiated by two groups that have quite unfairly received "racist" designations recently. They're making . . . 'smart business moves,' though announcing to the world that they feel that they are guilty.

The poverty law center, known by its initials SPLC, is actually a money-making scheme — some have called it a “scam” — of an Alabama lawyer who set out years ago to get rich on the backs of the poor and the duped.
The lawyer, Morris Dees, once defended Ku Klux Klansmen accused of beating up a black reporter covering the Freedom Riders, later raised money for George Wallace and then for George McGovern, and one day had an epiphany, or at least a profitable idea.

Because they are a criminal orginization who spouts a bunch of bullshit lefty rhetoric to line their pockets from donations from a bunch of stupid lefties. :argh:
They need to be sued out of existence just like they have done to others.

There are certain entities - e.g. traditionally black churches - that are so PC and so wedded to Lib/Prog/D causes and ideology that they can push almost any boundary with impunity wrt the IRS. The SPLC is one of such.
