Beware I'm rambling 51 going to start looking to for new union job I'm scared because I'm 51

The company I work for is realigning and with union wrights we can follow the work. Problem is I'd never move my family 1200 to 2000 miles away. My wife's career has taken off since w bush depression. I think it is 54 dock jobs 14 yard jockey jobs and 14 road jobs. I jockey I bid off road , so I think I'm going to pick up phone today and call this company intren they are supposedly hiring thru operating engineers union and you need cdl class a I have it. And they have three year apprenticeship, the ad said it was installing gas pipe line around Baltimore. I guess they have like 20 years work plan is to retire at 65 after our youngest is thru college. Wonder if they would hire a 51 year old, from 87 to 08 I worked for one company got 21 years on my pension with that outfit , w bush depression took that outfit out , then I came to where I'm at now. I would go to operating engineers classes probably be the oldest student and on job work. After three years your at I think top rate is 39.18 hour and I'd get vested in their health welfare and pension. They teach you run heavy equipment and cranes, I wonder if they would hire a51 year old man. They supposedly have decades worth work and I'd retire at 65 just worried. I do not want to work non union trucking well I'll call em 0900. This all goes back to regan and his deregulation of trucking.

No, it's not. The above is posted verbatim, including whitespace and lack thereof. (https://www.democraticunderground.com/10029425780)

No replies worth hauling over.

Got me thinking of another illiterate DUmmy who was sure he had the solution for the global economy:

Welcome Me Back I Got PEE-D OFF

It has been 7 months since I last logged on. I guess like the POTUS elect I got pissed off...... or was it pissed on.... or was it I got tired of peeing people off.

Either way. We have 10 days until the inauguration and I am more optimistic that President MelloYellow wont be making the party.

This PEE story is getting traction. I'll bet Putin has even more. My only concern is just how destabilizing this will be if Trumps inauguration turns out to be a PISS in the POT.

Anyhow welcome me back, I missed you all.

That was his last post. I hope he died.

Social worker?

If that is the case, and her career has taken off while his has gone down the tubes, wouldn't that make him an anti-social worker? :whistling:

What a painful read

It verged on unintelligible.

Since turning 50 I've changed jobs 3 times, 2 of them layoffs, the 3rd being a move 500 miles or get a new job situation.

Ronald Reagan has been out of office for 28+ years. He isn't relevant to this LPC Noob's situation.

As others have said, his wife is probably in social work, bureaucracy, or medical records handling, as these all flourished under Obama and OhBummer!Care.

He's actually been sort of a sad case - at a fairly advanced age, he had to get some job training. I think he did a few things, the most onerous was truck driving school, for which he lacks the focus, demeanor, and bladder. Meanwhile, his wife was looking for work, and his contribution to her effort was the most passive aggressive, self-eliminating cover letter of all time. Then he disappeared to run for the least influential or consequential public office in the US (I think it was for the board of a tiny water district). In the interstitial moments, he was known for his stories about meeting various right wingers in public places and giving them, as they say, what for. Add it all up, and you get a aging man desperate to preserve his family's wellbeing as he manages through his various political and career disappointments. Whom, by the way, I hope is dead.

Yow.  I'm surprised he still has a CDL if that's a fair picture of his mental state.

TEB deleted his OP AGAIN. :banghead:

Yeah, I actually thought TEB was rsmithnumbers' sock at first but I can tell you about numbers - he withdrew from his latest race for some office:

https://www.pdc.wa.gov/browse/campaign-explorer/candidate?filer_id=SMITR%20%20093&election_year=2017

he would've lost anyways but this is to Mr, Gonzales, who commented about R:

Randall Smith has no problems threatening those that have a differing views of things. He's very petty and quick to fly off the handle. NOT City Council material, in my opinion.

don't forget, he's also dumber than a sack of hammers - this was in reply to:
