Here at DU, we're pretty much preaching to the choir.
Do you know of any forums that civilly discuss policy, politics, etc. where both sides engage?

Until they have to actually talk to people that are light years more knowledgeable then they are.

DU is your safe space, where you are shielded from different ideas and can revel in your own wisdom, undisabused, and your stereotyped caricatures of those you hate are unchallenged by encounters with real, normal people..
