I offically start work Monday 9:30 am
This place is more professional than the other place I worked at. I could listen to anything I wanted as long as I wore headset/earbuds. This place I won't able to listen to Randi Rhodes or any hearings...
My biggest worry is THE TRUMP SUPPORTER I might encounter at work.
I live in a RED county in PA.
HUGE supporters. Hubby and I keep our head down around Supporters and seek those who didn't support.
Any suggestion on how to change the subject away from Trump or politics without giving myself away. Most years a shrug or a How about Pirate/Penguins/Steelers and it is changed without any issues. BUT since the elections I found I smile at the foreign delivery person or Thanked him with a Thank you, Sir in Spanish would give me a tongue lashing.
Someone called in Looking for answers to a question but was speaking Spanish. I said Hablas Ingles? and did my best to help him in the most elementary Spanish and English I could. I got glared at.
So any suggestion? Any ideas?
Pathetic. Really ****ing pathetic.
Libs are a waste of oxygen.

I have a suggestion DUmmy. Do your job and keep your pie hole shut. You're getting paid to work, not talk politics.

Exactly! Say, "I don't talk politics at work," and turn back to what you were doing. Problem solved.
Her Spanish language mini- :bouncy: s aren't very credible. Either they didn't happen, she paranoidly misinterpreted people glancing up in surprise, or the incidents were long enough that her coworkers were perturbed by her time wastage.

Just ask them if they would like a knobber, that will change the conversation! :lmao: :lmao:

Probably because either the person is not foreign or if foreign, not from a Spanish speaking country and you make the company you work for look stupid by trying to speak Spanish to him.
