What would YOU do if you were totally above the law like bush & cheney?

Just day dream a bit, how would you conduct yourself if you had absolutely no fear of prosecution and could get away with virtually any conduct, criminal or otherwise?
Me? I'd make marijuana legal and release all the pot smoking political prisoners, then, I'd round up all the criminals connected to the bush crime family, then I'd prosecute the living **** out of them, then, I'm not real sure what I'd do....
You mean political revenge and getting stoned would be your first priorities?
Figured a good socialist would want to help out all the poor and downtrodden.
Probably every other poster will say that...

But I like your idea of rounding up all the f*cking neo-cons (Bush, Cheney, et al) and putting them on trial with a real justice department. Then I'd consider the cannabis question.
Essentially the same as you but in reverse order. Then I'd round up all the neo-con hate-radio "personalities" and, using their own words, try them for inciting riots and violence, and the like.
Oh, then I'd nationalize energy and healthcare...

close every US military base outside the USA and bring every troop and armament home, destroy almost ever nuclear weapon, give a whole lot of public land back to the Native Americans, ... basically make a few small but needed corrections.

These idiots have a severe reading lack of reading comprehension. Even the OP doen't answer his own question. The question asks what would you do if you could get away with anything, yet all the answers have to do with having authority to do things to others. Totally separate concepts. :banghead:

This reminds me of something that happened up in Canada, during the late 1970s, if I remember correctly.
No links; I'm just going on memory here, from some history book.
The American oil company Conoco had some properties up in central Canada, but had lost interest in developing them for oil. The Canadian government, at the time socialist, decided to buy the properties and make them a nationalized operation, as it was important for employment in the area.
Inbetweentimes, the socialist government was topped, replaced by a conservative government, which decided, yeah, we'll buy the properties, make it a private corporation, and distribute shares equally among each Canadian citizen; we'll give the wealth to the people.
And then the conservative government was toppled, replaced by a socialist government, which decided, no, we can't have that, giving the wealth to the people. Wealth belongs to the government, not the people.
And then the socialist government was toppled, replaced by a conservative government (this was taking some years to accomplish), which decided, well, okay, we'll buy the properties, issue stock, and sell it to investors on the stock market.
Nobody, least of all the people of Canada, won in that instance; only the government.
