Get well soon Jimmy Carter
You do not even live here, let alone probably not an American citizen :bird:

He was hospitalized for dehydration. Not insignificant, given his age, but I would not be surprised if he has already been released. Either he or the organizer of the builders should have remembered to have and use water or "Gatorade".

Wish him good health. Despite being a terrible President, he is a decent and good man.

Yup. The DUmmies can't even be bothered to get up off their asses and work at age 29, much less 92, and in the heat.
The DUmmies would do well to align their work ethic with that of the former preznit.

I agree Ralph. His heart is in the right place... unfortunately his head is up his ass and always has been. Personally I have always thought he is an religious, honest, generous man. Just not presidential material as he proved back in the late 70's. If he would have quietly retired after his term then I would hold him in higher esteem. He didn't do that so I consider that a big negative.
Former presidents should be like old soldiers... they should just quietly fade away. :cheersmate:

I would have said, "he is a decent and good man," until several years ago, when he revealed his virulent hatred for Israel. Now, I think his hatred for Israel cloaks his inner antisemitism - possibly even from himself. For me that totally tarnishes his work with Habitat for Humanity.

He is just pissed at Israel because the Mossad hacked into the 80 election that led to Reagan dusting his ass. :tinfoil2:

No he is not.
He is a first class asshole who decided the proper thing to do was malign the United States from beyond water's edge.
He can go to hell and the sooner the better.

Completely agree. On the Israel issue. But think we can agree to disagree on certain issues. :cheersmate:

Yeah. He may have been a crappy president, but he's proven to be a very good ex- president, using his status and connections to help do some good through Habitat and whatnot.
Here's hoping he recovers soon, if he hasn't already.

He used his status as ex-president to malign the US and its policies -- and from foreign soil no less. He is a traitor and he can die in agony for all I care.

Yeah, he was very public with his BDS.

I also agree. While I think he was fairly incompetent as a president, his actions in the public sphere after leaving the presidency have certainly marked him as an great statesman. I really respect him more for his post-service than either Clinton or Obama.

That was true for many years.
Then, in the early obozo years he changed and began to slam and insult the USA from foreign soil.
He was NOT a statesman, not even a good person. He was and is a traitor to the USA and should die in agony and rot in hell.

Why not build here in the states for homeless veterans??

HfH is active all over the US and in other nations, so I'm sure they do, unless they've morphed into one of those top-heavy (administrative-heavy) charities like Red Cross or United Way.
