Facts and evidence do not convince them. Even personal tragedy won't necessarily sway them, because I've seen them simply blame their Trump-induced hardships on Obama.
These voters are not worth the effort it would take to persuade them.

Trump voters are not worth the effort to try to convince. We're much better off talking to the disenfranchised - those unable to register to vote because of the onerous processes in many states, those crosschecked off voter lists etc. Let us use our money to reach out to these people, to streamline their registration process and make it as painless as possible. If it would be legal, perhaps a non-profit, non-partisan organisation could be started in each state that would even reimburse people for lost wages due to voting registration - go out publicly to get both democratic and republican state senators and congresspeople on board, leaning heavily on the patriotic, democratic message to shame the Rs who know they only win if turn-out's low into participating.
Trying to tailor our approach to the white working class voters who voted for Trump is a lost cause, and they don't deserve the money or energy needed to get them. Disenfranchised minority voters do deserve it.

You've identified the perennial failing, I think: we bust our asses to win over a small number of far-from-certain center- and right-voters while ignoring thousands upon thousands of willing but disenfranchised voters, not to mention the countless discouraged voters who stay away from the polls.
But by all means, let's coddle the racists for the precious white votes!

I have asked and asked, but no one answers my questions. Who are these people walking around in society, collecting benefits, traveling to and fro, living without the possibility of purchasing a bottle of beer or a box of wine, who do not have and cannot get personal identification implements? No chance of having a state-issued ID card, passport, driver's license, or anything else that can tell others, as needed, who they are and where they live.
How in the name of Public Housing Vouchers do this people make it day-to-day?? And why should we let them vote just because they exist???

Don't let the DU-folk in on this little secret, but the black, Hispanic, Asian, and Venusian "working class" have the same mortgages, the same bills, the same educating their children, the same practical lifestyle concerns as do the "white working class". The Neptunians and Uranians don't though. They don't work. I think many DU-members are Neptunians and Uranians. :-)
