What are your encounters with friends or relatives who supported Trump like?
Lately I decided not to be polite any longer around friends or relatives who I know supported the Idiot. I lay into him with a vengeance. I find they never defend him. They just clam up and say nothing. That's because they know trying to reason with a deranged asshole is useless.
I have cut off a brother who supported Trump. It was pretty easy to do since he has treated me and my family like crap for 25 years. He told me during the Clinton days I wasn't his brother because I didn't think Clinton should be impeached. (That was in front of others too). He meekly apologized via email months later. His life is a better place not having to deal with a bitter, hate filled puss bag like you.
We have pretended to have a relationship by taking each other out to lunch on our birthdays. This year I decided to end that. I don't regret it for a minute.I am sure he is a lot happier not having you screw up his birthday listening to your deranged liberal bull shit rants.
These people just can't seem to go one day without trying to prove how devoted to their stupid left wing causes they are. They have to be the most miserable people on earth. Bless thier hearts. :lmao: :lmao: :lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

Was (s)he ever, by normal people standards?

They have become so entwined with their ideology that despite evidence to the contrary they can't let it go.It is easier to disown loved ones and friends than to re-evaluate the validity (or lack there of) of their beliefs. It's said if you think about it. My brother was a hardcore lib and we got along just great. We just didn't talk about politics or religion. Instead we talked about music and other important things.

In my admittedly limited experience with "liberals", I believe that many don't really have loved ones or friends. They look at everybody in their lives as potential sources of goods or services. I am sure they have not unfriended anybody who may be a source of income or gifts.

That does raise the question of how many DU-folk really have cut off relatives and how many are just chest-thumping for DU-cred.
