Nancy Pelosi is a Democrat. She's also a powerful leader
of the Democratic Caucus in the House. Attacking her at this time is maybe one of the worst things any Democrat could do. It makes absolutely no sense at all. We don't need to try to get rid of Democrats. We need to elect more of them. That should be our goal, and our focus from now on.
Representative Pelosi is from a congressional district in California. She represents that district. She has been elected to leadership positions in the House by other Democrats. But she is a local representative from San Francisco. If you don't live in that district, you have literally nothing to say about her election or reelection. If you are not a member of the House and a Democrat, you have nothing to say about her being in the House leadership.
Look to your own state, instead. Look to your own district. Elect more Democrats where you live. If you don't vote in Pelosi's district in California, you're wasting your energy. Instead, put that energy to work to register voters and get them to the polls in 2018, so we can regain majority control of the House. Work so hard that Democratic voters overwhelm Republicans in that election.
In Georgia's 6th Congressional District, a Democrat almost flipped that district in a special election. Almost. But, here's the deal: Almost 40% of registered Democratic voters in that district DID NOT VOTE. Imagine what would have happened had they voted. Ossoff would have won in a landslide. That's the work people need to be doing in their own districts. Get people out to vote. Get people registered. Do that and we win. Fail to do that, and we lose. It is that simple!
Leave Nancy Pelosi alone unless she's your Representative. She gets elected again and again because the voters in her district vote for her. If you don't live there, please turn your attention to the congressional districts in your state. Do what really makes a difference, please and forget about what doesn't.
Thanks for reading this.
Hey. Nancy Pelosi is an old, crusty, libtard poo poo head :-)

Keep supporting the crotchety old sour bitch. She has been leading your party to disaster for several years while she has enriched herself beyond your wildest dreams.
If you think she is working for you or the party you are on drugs. :lmao: :lmao: :lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

OF COURSE they're on drugs.
That's a given considering who and what they are in real life....losers.

True story: I was leaving 11 AM Mass yesterday and I recognize my Dem congresscritter in the congregation. I spoke to him briefly, he tried to blow me off, and I kept at it. :whistling: My wife wouldn't even go near him. And the thing is, I wasn't saying anything bad or political to him. I just took too much of his time, that's all. :whistling:

Just from the Ds' POV, Pelosi, Reid, BHO, and HRC have been horrible leaders. The Ds lost control of the House, lost control of the Senate, lost the WH, lost a chance to flip the USSC Lib/prog, face the likelihood the USSC's weather vane could be replaced with a solid Constitutionalist, and could see a 4-1-4 or 5-4 Constitutionalist court go 5-1-3 or 6-3 Constitutionalist.
Just from a D POV, Pelosi has been a failure for some 7 years. MM has swum so far up the proverbial Egyptian River he's seeing Ramses II face to face at Abu Simbel.

Clock-puncher religion. He was there to be seen.
Sadly. I'm not a Catholic, and have only been present for a mass during a wedding, but the traditional Lutheran liturgies have much in common with the liturgy of the mass. Putting it simply, the content is profound ... if ones actually tries to understand what one says or sings. So clock-punchers and people who rattle through the liturgy like an auctioneer really sadden me.
What's the penance for posting a serious comment here in the DUmpster?

Actually in reality he was hoping no one would notice him. If it got back to party headquarters that he was in a church they would have a recall. they would have him on trial for collision, treason, collusion, the 25th amendment and dishonoring their god the chocolate jug eared jeeezis obama. :argh: :argh: :argh: :argh: :argh:

It's not the first time I've seen him in a church. Last year, I was in a confessional line at a Fransciscan chapel a few miles away, and said congressman was directly behind me in the line. I felt that it was not the time to talk about anything, much less politics.

I dunno. I sort of like "Sooo... you gonna confess that abortion bill you backed last session? And the taxes you put on me so I can't afford to donate to the Church like I used to, Congressman? If you need help in there I have a list of bills you supported that made life worse for everyone except you politicians."
That would work.

Speaking as an outsider with less knowledge than a reasonably knowledgeable Catholic-in-the-pew, the slowness and inconsistency of discipline in the Catholic church is somewhere in the range of mystifying and scandalous (in the technical-theological sense of the word). I mean, Ted Kennedy was in good standing with the church? :o
