I'm damn tired of people who claim to be the left
trying to hijack the Democratic platform.
I'm damn tired of people who are trying to redefine liberals, and the Democratic Party.
If you are not for Civil Rights, Equal Rights, and Social Justice, you are not a liberal.
If you consider civil rights as "Identity politics", you are not a liberal.
If you are complaining about "identity politics" in any way, shape or form, you are not a liberal.
And if you adhere to any of the above, you are not the base, you are not the party, you are not our voice, and you will not dictate our future.

Apparently there is a little tent inside that big tent, and only the people in the little tent get to run things.

doesn't sound like the democrat party is very inclusive to people with diverse ideas....

I would like for the OP to define 'equal rights', 'social justice', 'civil rights' and 'identity politics'
-
:thatsright: If change is "hijacking" the D Party platform, why has the D Party platform changed since the Reconstruction and Jim Crow and lynching eras? :thatsright:
I know, I should be happy about D Party internecine spats and strife, but how @#$%ing dumb can DU-folk get?! For my part, if the D Party stays blind and moronic enough to keep denigrating "white people", theologically conservative Christians (of all "colors"), and working people (of all "colors"), I'm fine with that.

Equal rights, my rights are greater than your rights, what you think or believe is immaterial to me.
Social Justice means anyone who has more than me needs to give it up to me because I deserve it more.
Civil rights means I can do what I want when I want because I am SPECIAL.
Identity politics is a combination of all of the above, my group is special

Yeah, the Democrat version of 'Diversity' is like the MSM, DOD, and Government definition of 'Diversity' generally: People who look different but all think exactly alike.
