Laydeebug Appreciation Thread
More than anyone else at DU, she has from the start understood precisely what the stakes were--and are--in the 2016 "election". The fact of Russian interference, the fact that the whole GOP establishment, rotten to the very marrow, has known of it and used it to their obscene political advantage...and that this is the only thing in the country that really matters. Everything else radiates out from the treason, like ripples. More and more, I've come to feel that she's been right, too, about the actual, literal stealing and flipping of votes. I thought this was farfetched at first, but everything we learn makes the likelihood of it greater. We are in an unprecedented political crisis, and I am increasingly wondering just how bad it's going to get. We are in for Interesting Times, Gawd help us all. But in times of crisis, keeping your eye on the ball--seeing what really matters--is vital, and Laydeebug has kept her eye on the ball more firmly than any other DUer. Bravo!

I am crying. And humbled.
And it isn't *just* that I think they flipped votes....it's that I think they could have kept votes from counting in the first place TOO, which is pretty much the same thing.
How on *EARTH* can we be enlightened to what they *did*, and then think they somehow stopped...or somehow 'got stopped' at the ballot box? It just isn't plausible.
It wasn't on election night and it certainly isn't now, given the things we THOUGHT then, but that we KNOW now.
And the Greedia has a BIG ****ING lot to do with this too. A profit, ratings driven media is not a free press.
And thank you for this. Really.
