Could SC-05 be a surprise victory??

Somebody who knows more about this district than, please tell me. I took a look at the Sec of State site. Right now it says

Parnell - 16,531
Norman - 16,198

Ballots cast - 34,409

So with only 1800 votes left to count, Parnell has a lead of 330 votes. Could he really win this sleeper? Am I missing something? <-----  yes dear, brains.

In this race Norman is the Republican, Parnell is the Commie

10. Parnell is a rich former Banker bankster. He likely did not need money sent.

The fact that he is a successful Banker Bankster likely give true traditional pause in voting for the other guy. <--- yup

9. We will lose quite narrowly  nope you will lose bigly! Again!

It is one of those districts where if Democrats put money into it, we could have won. But democrats as a party pretty much ignored it completely  <----   :lmao:

Well, it is true that the Ds dumped ~20 times as much $$ into GA as they did in SC: (http://www.foxnews.com/politics/2017/06/20/south-carolina-special-election-norman-holds-house-seat-for-republicans.html)

Quote
As they have in other special election contests across the country this year, Democrats recruited a field of candidates to make a play for the GOP-held seat. But the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee plunked only $275,000 into the South Carolina race, compared with a $5 million investment in the Georgia special election.

But the Rs also poured $$ into GA, and had the Ds split their $$ differently, the Rs would as well. I suspect Tigg's dream would not have changed the outcome at all, and might have resulted in slightly bigger R wins in both states.
