What is written here on DU often gets shared on other websites.
I'm gratified to see many of my original posts appear, reposted, on conservative websites, especially one cavernous one, where they can be read by people who might not normally agree with me. Even if they are often the subject of ridicule at those sites, the messages are still read, nevertheless. I love it when my writings are shared. It tells me that my message is being read. I consider it a form of secular evangelism, in a way.
And I'm not the only one. Other OPs from DU are shared and reposted on such conservative websites. It's something we should celebrate, I think. Keep posting and they'll keep sharing it!
Hi MM! :cheersmate:

1. You have great posts.
Hope some of them register with the conservs..
Yes, they do, which is why you see many posted here

3. Good
Maybe, one day, they will learn what it means to be gracious and wise. May they mirror every one of your posts!
Better yet, why hasn't MM's graces rubbed off on the DU masses?

11. Does the cave continue to exist? Besides the policy differences I wonder what they think about
1) The inevitable debt explosion that is about to take place with the changes in the ACA and the big con on infrastructure and huge tax reduction?
2) Less transparency in every aspect of the federal government?
3) People working in the federal government openly profiting from policy.
4) Complete abrogation of the emoluments clause of the constitution
5) Nepotism and Goldmansachism
6) A complete renunciation of science
Could go on. They promoted themselves as honest conservatives. If they were they would be in open revolt. This administration has nothing to do with Conservatism.
We're here to make fun of you, GC. Even MM says so...

13. It does, but about all that goes on there is making
fun of DUers and their posts.

With all of that goat-****ing they do in that cavey-place.
But your stuff is always particularly noticeable, so I imagine that even the bleating of their live goat sexual objects can't always keep them away.
You are a world-class douche, Lamond.

20. Congrats!
I've yet to receive such an honor, but then, I don't post much.
But I have tarried over to some conservative sites now and then. And yes, lot of "commentary" but not much on substance.
However, blanket assertions, insults, etc. is a form of flattery. For example, if someone from the Westboro Baptist church called me a heathen, then I know without a a shadow of a doubt, I'm a good Christian.
You're welcome!

21. That's very encouraging :-)
I often get the feeling that we're preaching to the choir here on DU. That's not a bad thing, but the people who need to hear our message (you know who I mean) are not even made to feel welcome here. Or they have no interest in coming to DU on a regular basis.
That brings up another point. We should be careful to keep our language clean whenever possible, especially if visitors are picking up whole sections of a post and reposting without editing.
Mineral Man I'm not referring to you because your writing is always clearly written and gentlemanly (free of bad language). But I've seen other posts including one or two of my own where I'd be embarrassed I 'd known it would be reposted somewhere else. Yes the 4 letter words are sometimes hilarious, but they can also be misinterpreted and give people the wrong impression of why we're here.
Wise words. You should familiarize yourself with the foul-mouthed LaydeeBug, the current Queen of DU
ETA: DU Link + sorry Karin for the dupe!

I have never had sexual relations with a goat or any other animal and neither has anyone here, you dumbass. You saying it does not make it true. This is a reason why we laugh at you idiots.

Well dumbass... when we are commenting on your stupidity we don't have much substance to start with. Oh and FYI the word tarried means you stayed later than intended, not that you went over there. Dumbass. Yet we are the dumb ones? :mental: Look in the mirror dummie. The person staring back at you is a complete failure.

Now this is some fairly good moling. Slaps the dummies upside the head with echo chamber, gives them a bone saying it is OK,
goes further saying they need to get their message out and then slaps them upside the head again by an off hand comment about not feeling welcome. Then follows it up by calling the dummies out for their language.
I'll give it a 3 on the Perky moling scale.

24. The people who "need to hear our message" don't listen.
Hell, the Republicans could take away their health care and piss in their fruit loops and they'd still blame Obama or Clinton.
I've got a redneck nephew, guns, pickup truck, the works, who hates Trump with a burning passion. He seems to have changed a few minds among his peers, but I can't be sure it has anything to do with reason. They may simply be afraid of him. Fear is a powerful motivating force. That's why Fox News works, that's why Rush Limbaugh has an audience, always fanning the flames of fear, appealing to the lizard brain in all of us that's unable to distinguish television images and radio voices from reality.
Sometimes we humans follow after our gorilla-like ancestors, where there is a dominant male in the tribe keeping the peace, and sometimes we're more like the bonobos, keeping the peace with penis fencing and other overtly sexual behaviors.
Sadly since Eve tasted the apple, since Pandora opened the box, we humans have only enjoyed tantalizing glimpses of reality.
Mostly we react instinctively and rationalize our actions later.
hunter, please. This "redneck" can buy and sell your punk ass all day, every day. Here's a little data point to prove what a ****ing dumbass you and your kind are...
Ford F150: The Choice of Millionaires
When it comes to associating rich people with certain cars, most of us think of brands like Mercedes, Bentley, Range Rover and Ferrari. But would you believe that the most popular vehicle among the wealthiest Americans is the Ford F-150 pickup truck?
According to an analysis from vehicle information site Edmunds.com, the key thing that differentiates wealthy Americans from less wealthy Americans isn’t about luxury brands – rather, it’s about trucks and SUVs.
Trucks and SUVs are broadly popular vehicle choices with Americans, but they are particularly coveted by the wealthy.
Take a look at the top 5 vehicles for buyers with annual incomes over $250,000:
1. Ford F-Series
2. Jeep Grand Cherokee
3. Jeep Wrangler
4. Lexus RX
5. BMW X5

Considering that appreciating the entertainment DU-folk provide, Corpulent makes DU-folk out to be goats. Quite an insult to goats, I would add.

Why does Lamond believe anyone here is having sex with his wife?

His wife dumped him ages ago, he's a poor, bitter LOSER who wakes up every morning and curses the Gods that be that he was born ugly, stupid and black.

It's like the saying, "We're not laughing with you, We're laughing at you.
If you really want to share your insight with us unwashed cave dwelling deplorables, why not register here so you can freely express your opinions. Be forewarned, you will be challenged, but at least it will be a 2 sided conversation.

Yep, he won life's trifecta, became a liberal, and went on to teach courses at a turd-polishing school...

Isn't this the dummie (Lamond) that shoots heroin every now and again? If so, I hope he gets a a load of that elephant sedative the drug dealers are cutting the heroin with.
