slowly, the tide is turning.

I think we are seeing a shift which will eventually snowball into Trump being kicked out ir resigning.

For example, even on Fox News , Cavuto was saying the president's clearly attempted to derail the Flynn investigation. Scarborough also has turned on Trump.

This morning, Susan Collins was interviewed on CNN and she did not attempt to defend Trump, clearly said he was interfering with the investigation. When asked whom to believe she was clear that Comey was the one to believe..

There are signs the voters too are pushing back. We will know for sure in a few days if Ossof wins GA-6. If he does, it will be a strong signal of what is to come. The next data point we will have is the gubernatorial and state elections in my home state of Virginia this fall.

It may take until 2018 and the dems retaking the house, but we are getting there.

That's what happens when you flush a toilet. And that's what Trump is doing...flushing the toilet after the last guy dropped a huge load and just walked off and left it.

President Trump will leave office January 20, 2025 after having attend the swearing-in ceremony of President Pence.  Get used to it.

All this sturm und drang is becoming irritating to the American public.  They may be a bit disapproving of President Trump right now since all this mud is being thrown but someone should ask them what they think of these stupid lefty witch hunts.

They will vote him back just t put their thumbs in the eyes of the lsm and lefties in general.

On edit: fixed the year thank to help from my friends

Umm . . . That's 2025, not 2023.

Thanks -- I'll fix with proper notation.

Unless he loses, then the election means nothing and is not the beginning (or continuing of the winning for Trump) of a trend.

slowly, the tide is turning.

But not the way the primitives expect it to.

In terms of historic parallels, in which I've often compared the election of Donald Trump with the French Revolution, the productive and taxpaying citizens rebelling at being kept down by the parasitical elements of society, we haven't yet seen the equivalent of the storming of the Bastille.

It's coming, it's coming, but it hasn't arrived yet.

The rebellion of decent and civilized people against the Establishment, the Man, is still young yet, and has a long ways to go.

I remind the regular Republicans--a group to which I affiliate my own self--that unless they get busy and cut the budget, lower taxes, and bring some order and stability to the country, it won't be just the primitives around whom the walls are going to crumble.

The hippie Age of Aquarius, despite rare set-backs here and there, lasted forty years; it's not unreasonable to guess this new revolution will go on that long too.

Dems already made the choice to offer nothing for their voters... other than obstructionism for the sake of obstructionism, for 2018, 2020, and beyond.

Besides, on the National level, the Party is the mainsqueam-media now.  The 'turning tide' is them slowly realizing the ominous consequence of that.

The adults have taken-over.

"drray23" needs to stop filtering life through his :stoner: .

BTW, "Niagara Falls"//"Slowly I Turned" is a very old vaudeville sketch, and was done in movies by The Three Stooges and by Abbott & Costello (probably well before it was used in "I Love Lucy").

First, what Frank said. The GOPe is doing in slow motion what May did hyper fast, destroy their party because they are of the establishment. OT but i have no doubt that May sabotaged the election to stop Brexit. NONE WHATSOEVER.

Second, the only place the tide is turning is against the Fake News Media, the bureaucracy,  and the democrat party.

"In am not Trump," should be a losing message-strategy for the Ds. Rs slow-crawling basics like euthanizing OhBummer!Care, tax cuts/reform, and a budget would yield the field to the Ds.

The reality is you are all a bunch of losers. People are not interested in your identity politics, endless screamin for free shit that we need to pay for, multiculturism, open borders and the violence from your anarchist groups.

The best thing you can do is either sit down and shut up or get out of the way. Keep it up and the fleets of short buses will be stopping by to take you to the FEMA camps.

Ahhh, the "turning tide" aphorism, dredged up from 2004-2008.  I was wondering when that one would come back.
