Rosie O’Donnell Donates $1000 To NSA Leaker Reality Winner, Calls Her “Brave Young Patriot”
Here’s the problem for O’Donnell’s ridiculous assessment. The information wasn’t in any sense a whistleblower leak-the information had been pursued. The only reason she leaked it was to pump the Russia story to undermine Trump. Yet it proves nothing.
And really, Go Fund Me forbids being used by people who accused of a crime, so why is this still up?

Television personality Rosie O’Donnell donated $1,000 to a GoFundMe campaign set up for Reality Winner, the 25-year-old contractor accused of illegally leaking U.S. secrets.
Winner was arrested Tuesday for giving classified documents on a Russian cyber attack to left-wing outlet the Intercept. She was caught almost immediately after the Intercept showed copies of the document to the authorities, inadvertently giving away details that fingered Winner.
The same day, a GoFundMe was set up for those who wanted to support Winner. “This is a time to come together and unite in peace and hope and show the world LOVE ALWAYS WINS over hate! Good resists even when evil persists!” the description reads.

NSA Leaker Appears in Court – Denied Bail, Tells Mom To Use “Chelsea Manning” Media Defense Strategy

The leaker of classified NSA documents, Reality Leigh Winner appeared in court today in Augusta Georgia. She was denied bail as prosecutors provided the judge with evidence in the case including Ms. Winner writing about burning down the White House and a pre-planned intention to flee the country and head to Afghanistan or Mexico.
Federal agents found two notebooks in Winner’s home, according to the prosecution. In one, prosecutors allege that she wrote, “I want to burn the White House down.” On another page in one of the notebooks, prosecutors said, she listed the names of several Taliban and al Qaeda leaders, including Osama Bin Laden.
Winner allegedly told her mother that she needed to “go nuclear with the press” if she didn’t get bond because that’s how Chelsea Manning got out.
When prosecutors questioned Winner-Davis about her daughter telling her to “play that angle,” she said it was true.
A federal judge denied Winner’s request for bond.

Yeah, whoever her attorneys are will be about as effective as a trailer park in an EF5 tornado. There is no way she doesn't do time.
