If it weren't so atrocious and dangerously misguided, one might laugh...
Yes, the true threat is Trumpsters harassing female hijabies on the subway.
I mean, even the avitar... geez
Can you imagine the cloud of confusion swirling around in the brain of a DUnce?

4. Perhaps Part 3 Could Use a Part 3a
describing what you do when the harasser starts yelling at you or even indulges in violence.
I ask because it has happened. My response was to bring out the mace I had secreted in my pocket before attempting to create a safe bubble of air around the one being attacked.
My point is that a person who is capable of attacking a stranger like that is not rational to begin with. Rational behavior will not be effective.

2. Excellent graphic and good advice
on gentle intervention. Trumpsters who are wound really tight won't respond really well to this, but perhaps other people who see what is happening will join you in creating safe space.

So once again this is all based on the Sanders/Stein nutjob in Portland. All American nutjobs are usually left wingers, with the exception of the Oklahoma City guy maybe and he was anti-government he sure wasn't a Christian.

Leaving aside for a moment the supposed Islamophobia epidemic, it struck me that the creators of content like this don't give their readership a lot of credit. I mean, go up to the targeted person, make small talk, and ignore the aggressor. Who knew we had such gurus of social interaction and harassment prevention in our midst?

Seven Britons and tourists are dead, and 21 are in the hospital in critical condition (and 10 more are in less serious condition).
And DU-folks' responses are to claim it was right-wing false-flaggers and try to deflect attention by claiming a fruitcake Bernie-Stein supporter is right-wing and politicizing his stabbing murders. Had the fruitcake been institutionalized, no one would be dead. But Federal and state laws from the 50s, 60s, and 70s make such a common sense action virtually impossible.

Or to pretend there isn't a problem.

9. This assumes a lot.
Random conversation with a stranger could be seen as condescending. And "escorting them to a safe space" sounds a little like stalking.
Ken didn't get the accolades he was hoping for in the thread.

How about wearing one of those silly safety pins the left was sporting after November 8th?

Or one of those pink knit caps. Let people know how stupid you are.

first , check for a suicide vest, if they aren't wearing one then mind your own ****ing business :hammer:

This strategy was no doubt used on London Bridge.
Worked like a charm.

And they bring this up in spite of the train incident. Basically, you're supposed to engage in some small talk with the target of harassment, and the harasser is supposed to just magically fade away from being ignored.
Anywhere other than DU, that way of thinking might be considered strange.

The graphic reeks of white privilege and cultural insensitivity. A white woman has to rescue the non-white muslim. Why can't a non-white person do that? The white woman also places her hands on the muslim woman which is probably haram.

Where the graphic came from: https://the-middle-eastern-feminist.tumblr.com/
Pretty much a cesspool.

That little cartoon seems like the basis for lots of DUmmie bouncies.
