One of the most tasteless stunts I've ever seen in my life.
I would say I hope it destroys her career, but there's nothing there to destroy.
She obviously didn't think about how the families of people actually beheaded by terrorists would feel when they saw this. Not only is it disgusting and hateful against Trump, it's disrespectful to families of those victims of terror.
She has never been funny, just like that bitch samantha bee. But the fact people even know who she is needs to end.
Her ability to earn one thin dime outside of being a waitress should be curtailed permanently. She should be a pariah, shunned by all.
Some things are permanent and cannot be undone by apology. This is one.
We need to pull a page from the left's play book and totally destroy her so she won't be able to get a job cleaning toilets. Bombard CNN an dany advertisers she may be connected with. Be relentless .
We need to pull a page from the left's play book and totally destroy her so she won't be able to get a job cleaning toilets. Bombard CNN an dany advertisers she may be connected with. Be relentless .While we're at it, how about some conservative bloggers writing pieces with streams of profanity, epithets, and just general maliciousness? Thus, one could emulate one of the left's most effective tools: invective.
In case you missed it yesterday, and I pray you did, comedian Kathy Griffin was photographed yesterday holding up an effigy of Donald Trump’s bloody severed head. Given that Griffin traffics in the same kind of desperate attention-seeking that the president has mastered, and given that she occupies the exact level of fame that Trump used to occupy—and should have occupied for the remainder of his existence—her little art stunt deserved to be ignored. Griffin already apologized for it, and something called Squatty Potty suspended her. CNN also "fired" her from the one night a year they give her freelance work. You’d think that would be the merciful end of it.
But that, of course, is not what happened. No no, you’re gonna be hearing about this for a long, long time. “But Kathy Griffin” is about to become the new “But her emails.” It’s a mortal lock, because the right wing has so perfected the art of phony outrage that they can milk a Grade-Z scandal like #Kathghazi for far longer, and to greater effect, than the left can, even the truly horrifying stuff.
My response to Kathy Griffin’s recent tasteless, terrible, offensive photo of President Trump was immediate and visceral. The comedian, who was seen holding a prop of Trump’s bloody head, deserved to be called out in only the strongest of terms, and I was glad to see people from all political sides quickly taking to social media to join that call.
Like clockwork, Griffin issued an apology, and like clockwork, I clicked on the video expecting to roll my eyes at a celebrity clearly carrying out her agent’s wishes.
But I was taken back by what I saw — a genuine apology. “I crossed the line.” “I went way too far.” “The image is too disturbing.” “I ask your forgiveness.” “I beg for your forgiveness.”
Rosie O’Donnell, Other Leftists Attack Barron Trump For Being Frightened His Father Might Have Been Killed
(http://www.weaselzippers.us/wp-content/uploads/2017/05/Screen-Shot-2017-05-31-at-3.00.29-PM.png)
This story was the warning sign that just the mention of Barron by the president meant that the left suddenly thought that gave them free rein to attack Barron. These people are sick.
Via Twitchy:
Remember way back when, Rosie was attacking Barron Trump and accusing him of having Autism? The attacks were so bad that eventually Melania started talking about suing her, so she finally stopped and apologized?
Rosie proved she was willing to use and attack a child to go after Donald Trump, so it should be no surprise that she’s at it again with the Kathy Griffin ‘art’ incident:
As Twitchy reported earlier, Barron Trump was watching TV and upon seeing his father’s severed head, thought it was really his dad. People with hearts and souls immediately felt horrible for Trump’s youngest, but not Rosie and the Left:

The picture of Kathy Griffin holding a replica of President Trump’s severed head is disturbing, and it makes sense that people are upset.
What does not make sense, however, is the fact that people are calling for Griffin to be investigated by the Secret Service and/or criminally prosecuted over it.
In order for something like this to qualify as a criminal threat, it has to be a “threat to take the life of, to kidnap, or to inflict bodily harm” that was “knowingly and willfully made” — and no reasonable person could possibly think that this is the case when it comes to Kathy Griffin. I understand if you’re saying you’re upset. I understand if you’re saying that you’re sick of seeing President Trump be slammed by the celebrities who spent eight years gushing over President Obama. Hell, I even understand if you are wondering what our culture is coming to — those are all takes that a reasonable person could have.

Taking it down, apologizing and owning it is absolutely the right thing to do. (Ironically, something that Trump and his entire administration are completely incapable of doing.) I'm still a fan. 😘
Robert DavisWhat is with bringing up past wrongs. The use Obama effigies is wrong too. However, we are talking about a celebrity doing this vile thing.
At least you know how to apologize. The folks that had Obama in a noose were quite proud of it.
Aaron NewtonTalk about an enabler! Just as bad as the aggressor! :bird:
You really didn't go too far, and you have nothing to be sorry about. All this bullshit has gotten all of us on edge for so long now we're all ready to explode. Better to express yourself through art (even violent art) than through dangerous actions or harming others the way the other side does.
Ronnie MasonWe are talking about a celebrity here. Those people who burned Obama effigies got arrested.
Were you screaming at all the people with the burning and lynching effigies of Obama?
Kenneth Grider:bird:
I'm loving all the triggered Trumpflakes who most probably said nothing when the teabaggers were burning and hanging effigies of President Obama for 8 years.
Waylon Kearney:bird:
Thank you for being more mature than our president by apologizing for, what some consider to be a disturbing or offensive message. Art is supposed to be sometimes disturbing and offensive, presidents are not!
Craig Herr-Klepacki:yawn:
You are a comedian, crossing the line is part of the job. Yes, it was disturbing but owning it is classy. I'm waiting for 8 years of apologies from the right wing. (Crickets)
Jacob BowlingHere we go again! It is unacceptable and wrong with Obama. GET OVER IT! :bird:
It was acceptable when people did similar things when Obama was president. I'm sure you weren't saying anything either. I've been a fan of Kathys for most of my life. She doesn't apologize for anything so when she said sorry, she meant it. Get over it. Go to your safe place it'll be ok.

Kathy Griffin is under federal investigation for the controversial photo of herself with a bloody head meant to look like Donald Trump. And she seems none too happy about it.
On Twitter on Tuesday, Griffin wrote, “Q the botz & death threats, (I don’t give a f anymore [middle finger emoji]) but @tmz & @HarveyLevinTMZ may u never b under fed investigation like I am now.” She then deleted it and sent a similar message, saying, “Hey, (I don’t give a F anymore) [middle finger emoji] but @TMZ & Harvey Levin may u NEVER b under fed investigation like I am now.”
The tweets were in response to an article from ThinkProgress about TMZ’s allegedly close ties to Trump. The story claims the site’s founder and top editor, Harvey Levin, is pushing a pro-Trump narrative across all of the outlet’s platforms, including its “TMZ Live” television show, and killing stories that make the president look badly. It was TMZ that first published Griffin’s beheading picture last month, breaking the news of the gruesome decapitation photo shoot on its website.
