What FRESH HELL is this??
My one of my neo-con Senators, Tim “I’m with Her” Kaine, introduced (along with Jeff Flake) a bill called the AUTHORIZATION FOR USE OF MILITARY FORCE AGAINST AL QAEDA, THE TALIBAN, AND THE ISLAMIC STATE OF IRAQ AND SYRIA.
The bill would repeal the Cheney/Bush 2001 war authorization against al-Qaida – specifically, those who “planned, authorized, committed or aided the [9/11] terrorist attacks” [ooops – except those in the House of Saud] and the 2002 authorization for the Iraq War, and legitimize many – but certainly not all – of the military “activities” we have initiated and/or in which we are involved – ILLEGALLY – in the Middle East. The authorization covers Afghanistan, Iraq, Syria, Somalia, Libya and Yemen and would expire in 5 years, unless renewed.
All that war making, declaring war retroactively, without any debate whatsoever, and certainly no input from the people they are supposed to ****ing represent.
Wars, retroactively made legal – Poof! Like magic.
Look here! See how happy they both are?? So PROUD of their work!! Like they each just birthed a baby. A bi-partisan one, at that . . .

5. Concerns about the proposed bill:
“Since the new AUMF does not impose geographic limitations, it would still be subject to potentially sweeping interpretations,” says George Washington University law professor Jonathan Turley.
“The new AUMF does little to curtail unilateral executive authority since most of the past attacks would fit under targeting of al-Qaida or its ‘associates,'” he says.
Turley doubts Congress would ever exercise the option to disapprove of administrations naming additional associated forces “unless the Trump administration were to suddenly include Luxembourg in planned drone attacks.”

11. US Declares War on anyone US doesn't like... or that is “suspected” of not being likable. <- perhaps a bit of an exaggeration, but not much of one.
Great news for the US War Machine.
you mean like Russia? :lmao:

Somebody else--I think it was our good friend and colleague BattleHymn--some months ago made the same comment.
What the Hell are you guys talking about?
I've found Manny's message board a lot easier to copy-and-paste, than Skins's island.

its more like familiarity that functionality. I'd rather drink Folger's coffee than anything else. Not that the others are bad- I m just used to the same shit I've drank since 1983.
