My fear is that Mueller will prove collusion but won't say so

I think Alan Dershowitz is correct: there are no actual criminal statutes against it, and if Mueller does what Comey SHOULD HAVE done... just announce whether he's found something prosecutable, nothing else, and then keeps his trap shut... well, that's going to be Republican cover, no matter how treasonous.

Keeping my fingers crossed for criminal obstruction of justice, money laundering, witness tampering, etc. Not too optimistic on the collusion front. Somebody give me some hope!

Isn't it a damn shame when a citizen hopes that the man in the White House has committed high crimes and misdemeanors?

They've already bought the rope, they're just looking for the tree.

I'll go with Low-Post-Count Noob looking for DU cred.

If so, what he really fears is that Mueller will find there was no collusion, and state that fact so publicly and plainly that the Russia-Trump-Collusion narrative is nuked to Conspiracy Theorists' outermost fringe.

Is it just a trait of the left or of stupid people that look for goal and work backwards? Well I guess that is the new "sciency" way to do "sciency" work.

Yeah, it is.

It's laughably contemptible that the primitives think of themselves as being rational and scientific.

It's a great tool for planning, but a crazy way to interpret current facts.

Mueller is going to find that there is just a lot of smoke coming out of the dimocrats asses. :rotf: :rotf: :rotf: :rotf:

Any kind of diagnosis process starts with a mental list of possibilities, and then lets observations/evidence pare down or add to the list, until (ideally) just one explanation remains.

DU-folk begin with a conclusion, eliminate facts that don't support their conclusion, and manufacture factoids that do support their conclusion. IOW, their process is entirely :mental: mental :mental: .

I set up experiments all the time to see if my hypothesis is correct. No matter what, I learn something unexpected. Sometimes it is my hypothesis is close to being correct and needs tweaking for a final design. Other times I'm not anywhere near to the ACTUAL results of the experiment.

Now the thing about the left is that they never, NEVER, think their hypothesis is wrong because the experiment proved it wrong. NOOOOO, the experiment or reality must be wrong. Again this is why this will come down to a violent confrontation(s) before the end.

OK this an interesting post.  Especially from a newbie.

Possibilities:

1. Newb is genuine and believes it
2. Newb is a mole is poking the dump

Either way the dump is gonna be rending their garments and wailing endlessly when it all comes out in the wash.

Personally I never cared for a special whatever it is.  They are under enormous pressure to find something to prosecute.  I would expect there will be some underling to get charged with obstruction.  Way I see it if there was something illegal going on the MSM would have found it by now.  They didn't, so there is nothing there.

Nope, not that easy. They'll just include Mueller as part of the coverup. Seriously, if you deny Occam's Razor to the point where they wanted Donald Trump as POTUS over a person they ALREADY OWNED (UraniumOne deal and you know they had blackmail material on her in the form of emails), you'll buy anything. Anyone who states a different opinion becomes another conspirator, and eventually, the conspiracy includes millions of people, all of whom never say ANYTHING about the plot.

I believe the real fear is that Mueller will find nothing at all and tell the world in his final report. I believe the OP's point is subterfuge.

DU-folks and like-minded Progs should also fear that Mueller's investigation delves into The Clinton Family.

There is no crime for Mueller to investigate.

The allegations of collusion with the Russians, if true, is still not a crime.

If it were Dead Ted should have been tried and convicted before he drank himself to death.

The entire post is camouflage for one statement, which would cause DUmmy heads to explode if posted alone.

*Note to lurking DUmmies: I have no knowledge of the mole-troll's identity, so don't go looking for someone whose real name is Joel.

I respectfully disagree.  They're perfectly fine with and encourage dirty scoundrels, just as long as they play for the home team (D).
