The Latest: Anthony Weiner cries while apologizing in court

Former U.S. Rep. Anthony Weiner is crying in court as he apologizes to the 15-year-old girl with whom he exchanged sexually explicit texts.
The judge accepted Weiner's guilty plea Friday to a charge of transmitting sexual material to a minor. He agreed to not appeal any sentence between 21 and 27 months in prison.
The Democratic former congressman apologized to the 15-year-old, saying, "I have a sickness, but I do not have an excuse." The judge told him he would have to register as a sex offender.
The FBI began investigating Weiner in September after the 15-year-old North Carolina girl told a tabloid news site that she and Weiner had exchanged lewd messages for several months. She also accused him of asking her to undress on camera.

Please tell me his parents cranked out a few of those kids and then let's get them elected for the sole purpose of having them go on TV to kick repukes asses.

This is exactly what Dems need to do - Go out there and say it all in a few sound bites - "They are against social security, against medicare, against health care reform, against..."
It is how our political discourse takes place these days - and Weiner is one of the only democrats that can do this well. Glad to live in a state that he represents

15. Exhibitionism is far more necessary to be a member of congress
than it is to be in the adult entertainment business. Every day when I can stand it, I watch Congressional exhibitionists lie to the American people about real issues that affect their lives.
Weiner never did that. He stood up even when it was unpopular and defended the rights of those who put him in office.
People will remember this for a long time. Democrats caving once again, to Andrew Breitbart. It was extremely disturbing to watch. Far more disturbing than the sight of a penis which most Americans actually have seen before and didn't seem overly bothered by.
