Title: Trump Dow Bump.
Post by: YupItsMe on May 17, 2017, 04:05:45 PM
Hey DUmmies, without disclosing my finances, I can share with you that, due to Trump, my largest 401K retirement plan is on track to yield me a 31% return this year.  Even with you trying to sabotage his plans the market is still doing great.  Oh I'm sorry, you don't have a 401K plan.   Oughta try working.

And if the libs had their way, personal savings such as a 401k should be confiscated.

Yeah.  ...and there are a lot of, otherwise clear-headed individuals, who refuse to believe that.

I caught some fake news by accident tonight.  Today's modest sell off was, get this, because Trump is flailing.

The entire runup from 17,500 had nothing to do with Trump. In fact, the FNM didn't mention the huge stock market runup. BUUUUUT NOW, this minor sell off is more prooof that Trump is BADDDD!!!!111!!!elevinty

The sad part is the 30 something connected by their parents think it is working. The bubble she big and echoeyyy  eeeyy.....ey

Last year I became a member of the $1MM club.  No debt (paid off the mortgage).

I am sort of retired as it doesn't change a thing if I am working or not.  I work for fun not to make the bills.  Those are covered from now until infinity.

It only took 40 years.  But I am starting to get my pension from the state I worked for.  I didn't put a lot into it but 20 years has really elevated it :)

Bought a bunch of RBS with the investing equivalent of pocket change... up 40% since last summer. Just waiting on the dividend to restart

I invested my money in some "safe" mutual funds because we are both over 70. I expected a modest 4-5 % but actually RETURNED in actual dollars over 7%.

My only gripe is the fact my wife recently sold her business for a nice profit, which we counted on as our "nest egg", BUT the government at all levels swooped in and "STOLE" a large portion of the proceeds.

It was not millions but the lying democrat criminals in the U.S. senate think we are "wealthy" just the same (even though democrats don't pay taxes).
