18. I am video recording my suicidemail and instructed it to be distributed
to all of the media outlets in my living trust. I have already made the plans and made well informed decisions and my family and friends know this. Also, EVERY senator (all Dem and Rep in all 50 states) and 100 congressmen know this since I have called them all TWICE and tearfully told them so. I am doing this since I have an EXTREMELY painful chronic disease which does not kill you yet 50% of the patients kill themselves due to the severe pain within 7 years of being diagnosed. I spent $30,000 of my "not eligible for retirement" teacher savings within 2 years for health insur before the ACA went into place. I was a teacher and spent all of my savings on that and am now broke. Surgeries (for the rest of my life) to reduce the pain are my only option and this is my reality and future. This is a fact. Doctor assisted suicide is legal but very few actually do it due to possible lawsuits. I am not going to deplete my 80+ year old parents of their remaining savings and even if I did that amount of money still would not be enough. Spare me your "please don't do that" lectures or religious rants. That is NOT reality and until you are in my shoes you have no idea what my situation is like!
As soon as the primitive kills itself the news is going to get blasted out far and wide on all the media, so keep your ears open for the news to break. Every single senator and a good sized fraction of the House have been called and told too.
I hope that the GOP actually throws an honest to goodness beer bash when primitive BigmanPigman offs himself.

Incidentally, the other DUmmies honored the dying primitive's last wish--not one of them gave him a "please don't do that" lecture or a religious rant.
Maybe they were honoring his wishes or maybe they just don't give a shit about this lying primitive any more than I do.

BigPig doesn't mention what disease he has. Probably non-existent but unlike the perpetually dying Omaha Steve, this clown will go out in a "blaze of glory" on DU.
-
Erm, if he's broke, what's the deal with the living trust? Seems like a completely pointless complication (and expense to set up and administer).

DAT, logic and reality do not exist in DUmmyville.

I don't believe it for a moment. Pam, please prove me wrong.

Mmm OK, Bye now.

**** trump and the entire GOP I hope they all die a slow painful costly death
that is what they are wishing on me
Well, Pamela dear, I can speak only for myself, but probably it's time for you to exit this time and place, given all your woes that make life unliveable for you.

My guess would be heroin addict and just got sentenced to prison. From what I have read withdrawal is painful.

Retired teacher who doesn't have health coverage? I call bullshit.

What we have here is a failure to copulate. The denial of willing moaners to the cause of her desires has created a gaping gap yet to be fulfilled.

Well at least we can be sure that this isn't just a sock for O'le Hopalong Bob.

I missed this earlier.
Maybe it's just me, but if I were suicidal, I'm reasonably certain that dementedjeeep is approximately the last person I would have any interest in talking to, aside possibly from insane insect....
Me: "I don't think think I can take this world any longer."
insane insect: "You're saying that because the Russians gaslighted your refrigerator!!! RESIST!!!"
dementedjeep: "I shit my pants again today."
Me: *bang*

One conservative's death is a tragedy.
One DUmmy's death is a statistic. A measure of an improved world.
Other DUmmies should follow this example! En masse.

I'm thinking "Unfortunate career-ending event" brushed under the carpet rather than resulting in criminal charges.

Yeppers. A decent living trust that isn't fill-in-the-blank DIY - i.e. one less likely to break if challenged - is expensive. And while forms may be included to make changes and addenda, those need to be notarized, an additional expense.

Yeah, if this :bouncy: is more or less true, it's missing a lot of relevant information, such as why he didn't have a (using Obama's term) "Cadillac (union) healthplan". Further, a teacher who's managed to accumulate $30K toward retirement is not an un-tenured noob. Pigboy was tenured (if a teacher), and could scarcely be fired for any cause short of criminal.
Maybe I'm missing something, but it sounds to me like he said:
* Pre-OhBUMMERCare, his costs ate up his savings;
* Under OhBUMMERCare he came to the brink of bankruptcy, and is unable to pay for surgeries under OhBUMMERCare[/b] or whatever replacement(s) will be available.
Going very speculative, BigmanPigman did not specify what his medical problem is. Putting together the (claimed) facts that he's in constant pain and that surgeries will be necessary on an ongoing basis, plus his DU-name, I'm going to guess that he has degenerative spinal problems, and it's caused or exacerbated by his being quite corpulent. IOW, his medical problems are probably self-caused, and have progressed to the point that he can no longer reduce his fundamental problem through exercise - he stuck forks all up and down his spine, and can no longer remove them.
It's a sad thing that he's in chronic severe pain - assuming his :bouncy: is true, as far as it goes - but if it's self-caused, I have a hard time being sympathetic when he doesn't own his responsibility for being where he is.

Gotta give the broad credit. When she's right, she's right. :cheersmate:

In KKKalifornia, teachers have "Golden" Cadillac health care plans.
So absolute zero Kelvin bongs on this one.

Is that William Rivers Pitt's sock puppet?

In the big cities at least they have "rubber rooms" for those sorts of cases. So either his union was weak or there were criminal charges, plead down to probation +/- a fine).

Or a mega-lawsuit from the parents, and quitting was part of the settlement. Not all states have deluxe retirement plans, or unions that won't sell out someone in the bargaining unit to save their own face.

Such a pity straight jackets weren't covered by the ACA.
