What exactly IS Medicare for all?
Like Vermont's Republican Lite plan? Medicare PLUS? Like Medicare Advantage Plans but STATE run? Eliminate the choice of Fee for Service, including for Medicare Beneficiaries? The only difference would be that the State would be you "Plus" insurer rather than private insurers? Big deal. It is still about giving the public no choice. I have not read the details of California's recent plan.
Having had only Original Medicare for the past 3 years, I do not want Medicare "Plus", be that from private insurers or the State, mostly because I do not use it, don't want to, or for anyone telling me that I MUST have a doctor, or use preventive care. I do not like Nanny Health Care. Been there, done that with Employer Self Insurance, Wellness Program, no choice, and STICKS for Non-Compliance of whatever medical treatment they decided you needed.
Explain to me how there is CHOICE for individuals in this?

1. A way to bankrupt any state.
2. A way to chop a few years off of average lifespan in America.
3. A socialist wet dream.
4. The end of modern medicine in the USA.
5. A way to increase foreign doctors that are at best nurse practitioners in the USA.

Higher taxes that will fall disproportionately on the middle class and the poor for one thing. You think medicare is great? No it is not. You would be highly disappointed in it.
You can tout Europe and Canada all you want. There is a reason that they drive small matchbox vehicles and live in small apartments. Their taxes are outrageous and YOUR ass would be the one to pay.
Trust me dummie... free healthcare is not free.
