A herd of wild boars assaulted an Islamic State position Sunday, killing at least three of the terrorists and injuring another five.

The ferocious beasts attacked the ISIS fighters as they were preparing an ambush in a reed field approximately 55 miles southwest of Kirkuk, Iraq, a local sheikh told The Times of London. The ISIS fighters were preparing a surprise attack on a group of local tribesmen who had formed an anti-ISIS militia in the nearby Hamrin mountains.

Unfortunately for the boars, ISIS later “took revenge at the pigs that attacked the farmland,” a source told Alsumaria news.

A long, long time ago, when I was a young Dragoon, one of the things that I (rapidly) learned always had the right-of-way was any sort of wild boar.  I'm sure that other Cave members have similar stories/conclusions.

So pigs don't like Muslim terrorists either. The terrorists are pretty gamy. :bolt:

Yep. The Grunewald in Berlin. I was about 8 kms in a 24 km run when -- not 20 feet in front of me -- a sow and her piglets emerged from the woods and continued on the path in front of me. I stopped in my tracks. She never saw me, as she and her troupe kept trotting along in front.

I knew that getting between a sow and her "Kinder" was something to avoid.

The guys who trained in the Grunewald encountered them often enough that they were not-so-affectionately called "Gruney pigs."
