France is 7 hours ahead of US Central standard time. So the election will be over before prime time tomorrow.

Just an asside. The Commie running ahead said that "terror is just a part of life now." not very comforting to a nation wracked by terror and wanting relief. He will do NOTHING.
Le Penn is the only one who will do something about terror. She wins.

10. That sounds like it comes straight from Putin / Trump / Infowars / Alt Right bullshit.
Are we going to live in a world where everyone is isolated? Is that where this is headed?

Make France Great Again?
Everyone can wear read hats, punch people at rallies.
Conservatives have been undercounted in polls lately. She could win. After Brexit and Trump, it appears many of them have been keeping it close to the vest in favor of surprise upsets.

Schadenboner Status if Le Pen Outright Wins Tomorrow
The meter would be pegged. And it has a log scale.

Hey! DUmbshit!
You DO realize that until about 19 years ago, we, including France, DID live in a world where everyone was isolated? That you had to actually show your passport to, say, cross from Germany into France? Do you realize that up until about forty years ago, only the EXTREMELY wealthy could travel between Europe and the United States, unless it was someone traveling in steerage on an ocean crossing that took weeks?
Fuggin' moron.

Whoa! ILZ almost swerved into the truth of one of the shenanigans the MSM pulled during the 2016 US Presidential election. Various MSM outlets concocted their sample model for opinion polls, based on the 2012 turn-out. Could they not imagine, despite what was happening under the noses of reporters forced to leave the NYC-DC bubble, that voters would react to The Shrew-CHILL and Trump differently than they did to Obama and Romney; nor that some Obama voters who turned out in 2012 might stay home when faced with the prospect of The Shrew-CHILL; nor that some voters who stayed home when faced with the prospect of Romney might turn out for Trump?
Frankly, I do not think MSM folk are THAT stupid. I think they knew The Shrew-CHILL didn't play as well in some communities as did Obama. I think they knew Trump was playing much better among many in the R base than did Romney or McCain, And I think they knew how strong and deep Shrew-CHILL loathing is among many Rs. All in all, I think MSM folk knew more or less from the outset that 2012-based poll sample models were highly dubious, but hoped to discourage likely Trump voters with a constant drumbeat of, "Trump's losing ... Trump's losing ... Trump's losing ... Trump's losing ...". I'll give the MSM this much. I think they did fool many people ... supporters of The Shrew-CHILL.

I'm not sure crossing from France into Germany would require a passport, even if Le Pen won. Even if the EC gets euthanized, that does not mean a return to 100% status quo ante.
But you are correct about the current passports situation. My daughter flew into Amsterdam, and went through the passport thing there before boarding her next flight, to Helsinki. When she got there, she kept looking for the customs area on her way out, and found herself out where cabs pick up and drop off passengers. There was no customs area.

6. The first red flag exposing an authoritarian
are the generous use of personal pronouns.
"I will protect..." My first measure..." Next she will be saying, "My military".
I would agree. Obama is the pinnacle of that.
If this is one of you guys, well played!

That's just dumb. I occasionally do some circumlocution in writing or speech to avoid using first person pronouns, but when one is listing accomplishments or future plans, that kind of circumlocution gets cumbersome and starts sounding stilted and ridiculous.

circumlocution
Hey smarty pants, i had to go look that up!
Me, I was trained to use "we" language in leadership positions. We have to... Our military... etc.
Does remind me of a joke of poor taste but those are the funny ones to me.
A guy gets home from work and his girlfriend had been out with her friends so was loaded with both barrels. She says "My friends all think you are pedophile!!" The guys tells her "That's a mighty big word for twelve year old."
Anyway found a great picture that i hope all the LUrking DUchebags click on:

French presidential candidate Emmanuel Macron spoke with former U.S. president Barack Obama on the phone on Thursday, in an apparent sign of support just three days before the first round of an uncertain presidential election.
Macron said Obama wanted to exchange views about the French presidential campaign and that the ex-president had stressed how important the relationship between the two countries was.
"Emmanuel Macron warmly thanked Barack Obama for his friendly call," Macron's party "En Marche!" said in a statement.

Looks like a May 7th runoff between LePen and Macron. But LePen was already 4% ahead at 27% to Macron's 23% Hope that lead holds in a one on one situation. No DUmp meltdown yet.

So basically interfering more in the French election than the Russians did in ours. But the good thing is Obama always backs the loser. The only time he has backed the winner was himself which leads me to think that there is a correlation with Odumbo winning and massive democrat voter fraud in 2012.
ETA: looks like my dream is not to come true and there will be a runoff. I will not be surprised that there are tens of muzzie terrori...er "we may never know the motivation or intentions" attacks in France in the next few weeks. I hope not but I think there will be.

Had to Nadin up Macron and his party, I knew Melenchon was the hard-over maximum Leftist in the race and Macron was one of the volumes in between the bookends. Macron looks pretty darn far Left, although pretty raw in terms of experience in elective politics. The Euro press is busy giving him all sorts of BJs as 'The savior of France' (Meaning saving it from Le Pen, not saving it from the real problems like refugee influx or the long-term Islamic refusal to assimilate dating back to the Algerian War).

Looks like "Macron" is a white Obama promising utopia with lots of Unicorns.

That's pretty much what I'm getting, from reading between the lines.

PARIS — A gunman wielding an assault rifle on Thursday night killed a police officer on the city’s most iconic boulevard, the Champs-Élysées, stirring France’s worst fears of a terrorist attack, which could tip voting in a hotly contested presidential election that starts on Sunday.
The response of all the candidates was to express solidarity with the police, and Mr. Fillon, who represents the mainstream right, and Ms. Le Pen said they would not campaign on Friday, out of respect for the police officers who were killed and wounded.
Emmanuel Macron, a centrist who along with Ms. Le Pen has been leading in the polls, stepped back from the moment, saying: “This imponderable threat, this threat, will be a fact of daily life in the coming years.”

Throw that unacceptable quote back in his Barry loving face every day from now until the election.
