Constant lobbying for more guns in more places (schools, bars, etc.).
Giving brazilions of dollars to pro-gun candidates.
Actively trying to unseat any politician that is for any kind of gun control.
"My cold, dead hands."
Promoting "the Nuge" as a figurehead.
(Someone who actually threatened violence against Hillary Clinton).
Against SAFETY FEATURES in guns.
Against ammo limits.

The criminal element have so many guns cause the NRA has lobbied to make more guns then people and therefore society is oversaturated with guns. Plus considering a gun can exist for about 5 human lifetime it makes them as expendable as happy meal toys. Not real hard for some moron to find one if they want.

82. Adding to the horrible and disgusting practices of the NRA is the simple fact that gun ownership is protected only in connection to a well regulated militia.
If we did what we were supposed to do the only way this guy could have had a gun in the first place is if he was a part of the militia and took the gun out of the locked case at the well regulated militia building and went out and did this.
Our interpretation of the 2nd amendment is courtesy of the NRA and for profit corporations.

Islam is not a monolithic entity and has any number of interpretations and practices.
ALL the world's major religions do.
As I said upthread, blaming Islam for this is like blaming Christianity for what the KKK does.

Of course, in keeping with the DUmmies' twisted sensibilities, none of them blame the demented ideologies of radical Islam and racism that drove this killer, and they certainly don't blame the killer himself (Ultra- liberals believe in never blaming the psycho who actually committed the crime), but instead blame the NRA, an organization which had nothing to do with it.

Fun fact: The vast majority of gun- related crimes, including many mass shootings, are committed using guns that were illegally owned to begin with.

Here's an inconvenient truth for you DUmmies: Nearly all of the major mass shootings that have happened over the last several years (Virginia Tech, the Aurora Movie Theater, Sandy Hook, the Pulse Nightclub, etc.), have occurred in areas designated as "Gun-Free Zones." Why, it's almost as if violent psychopaths with mass murder on their minds don't care if they break your gun laws, and prefer targeting areas where they are unlikely to run into anyone who might fire back at them!

You have to read down 2/3 of this article (http://www.latimes.com/local/lanow/la-me-fresno-shooting-20170418-story.html), but there the LAT mentions facts that prove this murderer violated the law (of CA and probably every other US state) in owning a gun. He was a convicted felon. So gun control laws - CA's are among the most stringent in the US - were irrelevant, except to the degree (if any) such laws disarmed this murderers victims and witnesses.
I think the LAT's assessment that the influences on this guy - what led him to hatred and murder of white people - was the Nation of Islam and other Black Nationalists. But that's a "there" which DU-folk won't go and from which DU-folk "must" deflect.

If that's the case, then after the Constitution was ratified, why didn't the gov't go around and gather everyone's guns and lock them up in case they were needed later on by the militia?
