The Big Ass Bomb.
It's a dilemma.
Should I wish for the Constitution to be obeyed or should I wish for the Generals to be in charge - at least, of our military. We had grown accustomed to the old Constitution after about 240 years. But, we are now led to believe that it is the generals that are making the call?
If the Generals made the decision to fire off the MOAB, the largest bomb in our non-nuclear arsenal, then it must have been a very important reason? Was it bluster to show the world, and two or three countries in particular, just how powerful we are as a military power? Was it for show or was it for a strategic purpose?
If the Commander in Chief was not told of the decision to fire off the MOAB, then it could be a very serious problem within our chain of command, as written in our Constitution.
But, the dilemma is: Do we want the present Commander in Chief to be making the decisions or the Generals and Joint Chiefs making the decisions? With which would you feel more safe?

Believe it or not, Generals don't have to get specific WH permission for every bomb they drop and every shell and missile they fire, short of nukes. Obama tried the oft-failed micro-management tack, with the usual results. Trump is leaving the tactical decisions to the people with knowledge and understanding of the situation.
