The student government at a university in North Carolina is demanding funds and much more for illegal immigrants, but not everyone at the school is in agreement.
The Appalachian State University Student Government isn't only demanding funds for illegal immigrants, but also free legal resources, online courses, safe spaces, and mandatory faculty training. Derryck Green of Project 21 (The National Leadership Network of Black Conservatives) maintains it's totally unfair to those individuals who are abiding by the law.
Many students at Appalachian State are opposed to the idea because they say it could trigger a cut in federal funds, which would prevent many legal students from being able to attend. Green couldn't agree more.
The student government's demands come in the wake of President Trump's executive order to curtail illegal immigrants and increase border security. The official statement basically urges the university to become a "sanctuary campus" and encourages students to "resist an unjust measure that will tear apart families and deport people from the place they call home."

I think Appalachian State is a teachers college,so it's full of underachieving dummies looking for safe jobs where they can't be fired for incompetence.
