Cindy Sheehan Qualifies to Challenge Pelosi
SAN FRANCISCO — Cindy Sheehan, an icon of the anti-war movement, has qualified to challenge House Speaker Nancy Pelosi for her seat in Congress.
Sheehan, 51, says Pelosi failed to persuade her party to end funding for the Iraq war after Democrats reclaimed the House majority in the 2006 midterm elections. She also accused the speaker of failing to hold the administration accountable for the administration’s warrantless wiretapping program.
Sheehan, who lost her son in the war, is best known for beginning a vigil outside President Bush’s Texas ranch in August 2005.
“I feel like Nancy Pelosi, as the Democratic leader, has failed our country miserably, funding for more war,†Sheehan said Monday. “The speaker’s failed to hold George Bush and Dick Cheney accountable.â€
San Francisco election officials on Monday said Sheehan turned in 214 more valid signatures than the 10,198 she needed to qualify for the November ballot as an independent candidate for the 8th Congressional District seat.

Bet that even after she gets rightly snubbed by the voters she still won't STFU, and realize her 5 minutes are well and truly over.
Any takers ?

Not sure who is the bigger moonbat, Sheehag or Bella Pelosi.

GO CINDY GO !
-
Will there be a republican running? It would be funny as heck if a conservative republican gets to represent San Francisco. It would be grand, even if for two years, to see the 80% in that district who are moonbat idiots/queers ignored while the 20% who are normal get some representation for a change.

If there was, I'd expect the R to come in third, considering the moonbat density in Pelosi's district.

Sheehan is being unfair and delusional. If Sheehan was honest - which we know isn't possible - this would read:
Sheehan, 51, says Pelosi was unable to persuade her party to end funding for the on-going military operations in Iraq after the democrats narrowly became the House majority due to most of the new democrat candidates campaigning as Ronald Reagan's ghost in the 2006 midterm elections.
Facts and history cannot be recreated, even for such a worthy candidate as Cindy Sheehan.

Of course. I was just dreaming.

yeah, cool thought, but the liberal/progressive/moonbat/spoonbender vote would have to be split a lot more that two ways before a republican could sneak in and steal the election. now, if there were a couple of dozen moonbat candidates . . .
