Either Pammy needs a little attention or she is laying the groundwork for yet another beg-a-thon. Probably both are true.

I try to Pay it Forward Homeless are suffering too-Sometimes it's the little things <Like when you asked the other DUmpMonkies how to get the best stuff at the food bank.>
In November, I got deathly ill. <No you crapped yourself in public and wanted to die from embarrassment.> I had to go on short term disability and there was some question if I would even get that. There was question if I would even live to the new year. <You and Stevie D. have been on Death's door for years and yet here you are.>
Many of my friends here and other places stepped up and helped me out so that in the time of uncertainty, I wouldn't have to worry about where I lay my head. <You lay your head in an upscale condo that you bought with the profits you made when you sold your previous house. You bragged on it, or don't you remember?>
Fast forward to March.
I have been cleared to try to return to work. While I am scared and still not 100% I want to try.
When I get better off, I plan to do more but I have a burden for the homeless. <You are a burden on all of society, not just the homeless. And, as a teacher, could you please work on your sentence structure.>
I am not quite sure what all I can do but I try.
When I get gas for my vehicle, I buy a sandwich and give it to the guy that is always sleeping in front of the QT. <Sure you do.>
I cleaned out my closet and got rid of a lot of clothes. In my profession, I have to dress professionally so most of them were "teacherish" but I had also collected quite a few pair of sweat pants and shirts. I also had several pairs of shoes and tennis shoes and fake ugg type boots . I realized that I had way too much when others had nothing.
There is a park across the street from where I live and the homeless hang out there a lot.
Last night we took all of those clothes and shoes and a couple of blankets (two people do not need 10 blankets) We laid them across the benches under the gazebo in the middle of the park. My spouse said we had to be careful because some people don't like it when the homeless are helped. That made me cry. <She's told this exact same story before, but I believe the last time the homeless were skittish around outsiders. Maybe she learned that comparing homeless people to feral cats, and discussing what a good slave owner she would be, don't go over well.>
This morning when walking my dog, I noticed that all the shoes were gone as well as the blankets and almost half the clothes. <Apparently many of the homeless people have heard about your incontinence and think your clothing is probably a biohazard.> Hopefully someone can find a use of all of them.
I feel much better about doing that than taking them to a goodwill where someone will charge people for things they got for free. I know goodwill does great things, but people that are homeless do not have money to shop at goodwill.
I know it isn't much, but at the moment, it was all that I could do and when I noticed that most of the things were gone, it warmed my heart that someone needed it.
If I ever win the lottery or come into any kind of fortune, I will do something to at least help the homeless in my city.
It is a shame we have such pukes in office that do not care about the problems that we face every day.

2. my dream
my idea if I ever had the money is to open a "store front" and let it be a hang out spot . A place where the homeless can come play checkers, read, watch TV, have a cup of coffee take a shower maybe have soup and chili things like that
I will probably never have the money but that is my dream.

3. I also like this idea
Talk with some homeless men or women. And/or read Eliot Lebow's Tally's Corner: A Study of Negro Streetcorner Men and Tell Them Who I Am: The Lives of Homeless Women. Lebow the latter book while he was dying of cancer.

180 views and the only replies are her responding to herself. Has the DUmp finally figured out that almost every claim she makes is a lie?

Your thread title is accurate in more ways than one.
Yesterday's pool boy on a cruise ship is today's bum in front of QT that Pam tries to proposition with a sandwich.
Unfortunately for Pam, most homeless people aren't blind.
Alternate post:. Pam has developed feels for the homeless, because like bums, she also knows what it feels like to go around smelling like shit.

You know what else Goodwill does with that stuff, dimwit? It uses that to give people jobs. You know: actual gainful employment so that someone who is completely in the dumps can attempt to climb out of the vacuous cesspool that some Democrat has created and actually sustain themselves as a human being.
But they're not union jobs, so I guess that doesn't count for you, DUmbass.

..And here we go -Another thread grousing on about the homeless. -- because as we all know, they stopped existing between the end of January 2009 and the beginning of January 2017.

Virtue signalling with Klieg Lights.
Kicking one's own vs post is most unseemly.

A QuikTrip sammich?
What are you doing, Pam- trying to poison the poor guy?

Virtue-signalling enabler! The longer people like her enable his lifestyle (and, probably, insanity) the longer need doesn't force him to get (voluntarily or involuntarily) real help.

I used to go to a part time job in college at 6:00 to get a couple hours in before going to classes, then go back after classes. The best part of was I would go by the local homeless park and honk my horn the whole way by them. I didn't want to but I felt I owed it to them.

> it warmed my heart that someone needed it.
The only reason this drone can't walk on water is because it always parts in front of her, leaving a dry, sandy path to lead.
