Not-so-bold-prediction: Mike Pence will be sworn in as President before Christmas 2017

The Trump circus is unsustainable. Whether it is resignation, impeachment, invocation of the 25th amendment mental-health clause, or something else.... Donald Trump will not be President of the United States next year at this time.

1. Let's hope it all happens a lot sooner for the sake of the children, the people and the planet.

2. He'll won't last a year either. Unless he picks someone extra scary like Ted Cruz as his VP...

... to deter anyone from considering impeaching him.

Yeah.... that's not how it works...

4. still disagree. the path of least resistance is to simply let donnie languish, largely ignored.

congress is rapidly figuring this out, they will pursue their own agenda mostly ignoring donnie, pretty confident that he will sign anything that passed a republican congress.

the media will be slower to pick up on this, because they case less about policy than they do about sensationalism, and while congress is screwing up policy, the media will still be focused on the random, irrelevant distractions donnie dishes up daily.

donnie himself isn't much on policy either, so he won't really mind so much, as long as he gets media attention when he signs crap legislation.

the rest of his time he'll give rallies to dwindling audiences, whine via twitter, and continue to embezzle money.

i still don't see a republican congress actually impeaching and removing donnie. we're still a long way from their strongly republican constituencies demanding it, and it will not happen unless and until his support among the republican rank-and-file vanishes.

I'll put a hundred on January 2025 unless all of the "It's ok to shoot republican presidents that the elite leftists are putting out" gets one of the tens of millions of mentally unstable democrats to succeed at assassinating him.

I'll pose a question. If that does happen will real Americans think it ok to assassinate leftists, by the tens of thousands or just go after their leaders?  I know embrace the power of "and."

Ladbrokes has him at even odds whether he makes it to full first term or not. I kid you not.

NOTE: Betting sites cannot profit off of death, so pulling off a Snoop Dogg will nullify and return your original bet.

Another bet worth considering is being reelected, which is going at 1/2 odds (+200 American), or bet one dollar to win two dollars (plus the original dollar bet).

As I said before, watching Donald J. Trump since the 1980s, just when you think you have him beaten, he rises from the ashes like a phoenix and kicks your ass.  This is no different. :whistling: :fuelfire:

I agree! This isn't a bold prediction, it's a stupid prediction and a play for DU-cred. Predicting that Trump will be forced out of office by the 22nd Amendment in 2025, might be a bold prediction, but it's far more likely to happen that "President Pence" in 2017.

How much disappointment do we think they can take before the mass suicides begin?

Hopefully, not much more.  And also hopefully, they'll video those for posterity. :cheersmate:
