5. Unwelcome, anyway It appears our Commander in Chief plans to change the mission to be supportive of Assad. I'm betting that once that sets in the Marines will have no allies on any side.

you have now idea what's going on.

Did DU-folk ask this question when Obama had (http://www.usatoday.com/story/news/world/2016/08/25/united-states-pilots-tense-syrian-jet-encounter/89258646/) US military planes (http://www.cnn.com/2016/10/28/politics/russian-us-military-planes-in-near-miss-over-syria/) patrolling over Syria? (http://www.thedailybeast.com/articles/2015/11/03/u-s-brings-dogfighters-to-counter-russians-over-syria.html) Or when Obama had US military personnel operating in Syria? (https://theaviationist.com/2016/08/20/syrian-su-24s-attempting-to-fly-close-to-u-s-special-forces-in-syria-get-intercepted-and-encouraged-to-leave-by-f-22-raptors/) Google is a Reich-Wing information source!!!

I know, to ask is to answer.

These traitors didn't give Shit #1 when Syria was a waystation for hajjis killing US troops in Iraq during the Bush years.

I have plenty of fellow Soldiers who will tell you all about the 2-way small arms qualification range along the Iraq-Syria border.

IMHO, Trump has made the DUmmys even more stupid. That's a mean feat but PDT can do anything.

I think President Trump is listening to his military advisors and allowing them to do what they think is necessary to WIN.

Very unlike Obumbles who went out of his way to hamstring the military and micromanaged everything for political appearance.

I think so as well.  I tend to think that he's not of the 'surgical strike with bad ROE' school.

Hillary wanted a no-fly zone in the area. As if that wouldn't have sparked a shooin' match wth Russia.

Concern from the primitives? Not even a whimper.

Not only that, but I have heard of a single Russian newspaper interview Russian AF fighter pilots about this very thing.  The Russian pilots' response sounded an awful lot like this:  "Yeah, we'd shoot down a few NATO fighters, but eventually they would beat us and control the skies over Syria."  Naturally, ol' Vlad wouldn't handle that well, and he'd probably launch an EMP strike against the USA.  Millions of Americans would die in the first month.
