Anyone know where Trey Parker and Matt Stone were at the time of Hayes' death?

I would be more worried about Tom Cruise jumping out of his closet and getting him.

RIP, Mr. Hayes.  Thanks for the music.

This reminds me of the uproar when "Shaft" won the Academy Award for Best Song in 1971, while “Bless the Beasts and Children” lost (not that that is such a great song, but it was the odds on favorite).  It was also the year Jane Fonda won the award for Best Actress in "Klute".

Everyone knew "Shaft" was a PC pick.  Fonda's win was a stick in the eye, too.

Right after the awards, Kaye Ballard (I think it was Kaye) appeared on "The Tonight Show".  She did a dramatic reading of the lyrics to "Shaft", complete with tears and a hanky for its "beauty".  It was very funny and terribly sarcastic.  Kaye made her point.

RIP Mr. Hayes.

First Morgan Freeman gets injured (another Memphis area celebrity) and then Bernie Mac dies. Now Issac is dead. These things come in threes....

Sorry to sound so morbid! Mr. Freeman lived. I wonder which celebrity will die now?

*runs*

This is a prime example of why one should never get involved with scientology. If you ever get a chance to read up on how these people at the top of  Scientology operate do so. They should actually be arrested for some of the shit that they do. Very dangerous cult is Scientology.

Douglas Adams was murdered by his treadmill too but the evil treadmill lobby covered the whole thing up.

Whoa. I didn't realize he wrote all of those great "Sam and Dave" hits.

What a sad story, Dixie. I hope he is at peace now.
