Title: President Trump Declines Invitation To White House Correspondents Dinner

President Donald Trump has announced on his Twitter that he will not be attending the White House Correspondents’ Dinner this year.

However, he did not say he would be cancelling the event completely.

At around 5pm on Saturday, Trump tweeted from his personal account: ‘I will not be attending the White House Correspondents’ Association dinner this year. Please wish everyone well and have a great evening!’

The dinner is planned for April 29, 2017.
