The U.S. Department of Homeland Security unveiled plans on Tuesday to consider almost all illegal immigrants subject to deportation, and will seek to send many of them to Mexico if they entered the United States from there, regardless of their nationality.
U.S. Secretary of State Rex Tillerson and Homeland Security Secretary John Kelly were due to arrive in Mexico on Wednesday afternoon for talks the White House said would "walk through" the implementation of Trump's immigration orders.
Mexico's lead negotiator with the Trump administration, Foreign Minister Luis Videgaray, said there was no way Mexico would accept the new rules, which among other things seek to deport non-Mexicans to Mexico.
"We will not accept it, because there's no reason why we should, and because it is not in the interests of Mexico."

Mexico Says It “Will Not Accept” Trump’s New Immigration Plans, Threatens To Retaliate By Going To The U.N.
Via Yahoo News:
This week, the Trump administration detailed new immigration plans that would expand the pool of immigrants eligible for deportation and offer more resources to agencies in charge of the crackdown.
The new plans would also see the US deport immigrants to the country from which they arrived, regardless of their country of origin.
This has drawn the ire of Mexican officials, who have worked closely with the US government in recent years to intercept migrants flowing through the country toward the US-Mexico border.
Luis Videgaray, the Mexican foreign minister, said on Wednesday that his government “will not accept” the US’s new, “unilateral” immigration proposals.
Videgaray also said the Mexican government wouldn’t hesitate to go to the UN “to defend the rights of immigrants,” Reuters reported.
