You know, I suspect the primitives hate, really hate, the brooklynite primitive.
As with Skins and the buzzy one, the brooklynite primitive is always speaking truth to primitives.

1. I'm totally unsurprised that DU-folk would fall for any fauxny story - note that the linked source was RawStory - that conforms to one or more of their hatreds.
2. I also have noticed that "brooklynite" frequently deflates their mutual masturbation sessions with some sort of cold reality. I'm surprised (s)he's lasted this long on DU.

I've always been curious as to whatever happened to one of their premier "journalists" from about 10-12 years ago, the "la_la raw_raw" primitive. She "covered" the scam that rocked the internet for rawstory, and made the laughable allegation that the modest unassuming reticent franksolich was "the brains" behind "the whole thing."
After the furor died down and it was time to shutter scamdy.com, I contacted her, suggesting that if she wanted, I'd send her the voluminous files that proponents of open and honest fund-raising had accumulated on the various primitives involved in the scam. I thought they might be of interest to her, the nitty-gritty about her fellow primitives. At the very least, it would've made some good reading.
After waiting a few months for her to respond, not having any other use for them, I finally just evaporated the files.
As for the brooklynite primitive, he--it's a "he"--actually lives in Brooklyn and is married. Appearances can be deceiving, but I'm guessing about 50-60 years of age. His wife is loaded, big bucks. He himself works as an urban planner. In real life, he's very generous with contributing to Democrat and liberal candidates and causes, but not to primitive ones.
He has standards, and prefers to back winners.
Which means he doesn't back a whole lot of candidates the primitives like.
One of the funnier things that happened a few years ago was when he asked the big guy in Bellevue, Omaha Steve, who he was. The big guy was offended, and it showed; after all, everybody knew who Omaha Steve was.
As with Skins and the buzzy one, he really doesn't belong on Skins's island; he needs to associate with a higher class of people (and probably actually does, in real life). Otherwise, it's like a member of the Country Club set hanging out with the trailer court trash.
The bitter old Vermontese cali primitive especially loathed him.
Which makes him a good guy, I think.

Whoa, thanks for reminding me of the Lefty primitive.
I keep my eyes on so many of them I lose track of some of them.
The Lefty primitive's one of the few rare smart eggs on Skins's island, and it would do the primitives good to pay attention.
They won't, though.

It's not that the UK parliament didn't vote to keep Trump out of the UK, it's that the vote will be in 24 business hours. this is common in parliamentarian systems.
Pretty sure Trump is legs. This story has toast.

I wish DUmmies were made to wear tags. I only live about 30 miles away from Cali. Just so you know the kind of town she lives in, the joke goes like this: "If a husband and wife get divorced in Hardwick, VT, are they still brother and sister?"
