Anti-Trump Protest Planned for Monday in Atlanta
An impeachment rally is set to take place Monday in Atlanta, another anti-Trump event on President’s Day.
Thousands of people have pledged to spend their weekend protesting President's Day and Trump's policies at "Not My President" rallies across the country. Events have been scheduled in at least 25 cities, NBC News reports.
In Dallas on Friday, high school students walked out to protest Trump's immigration policies. On Saturday, nearly 1,000 protestors chanted "Immigrants are welcome here" in the city.

Democratic Congresswoman Hints Trump Could Be Removed From Office via 25th Amendment
Democratic Congresswoman Jackie Speier sent out a tweet in the aftermath of Donald Trump‘s wild press conference on Thursday that suggested he should be removed from office pursuant to the 25th Amendment. The 25th Amendment was passed in the years after John F. Kennedy‘s assassination and provides the procedures for presidential succession in the event of death, removal, resignation or incapacitation.
Describing @POTUS as unhinged at today’s press conference is kind. This is scary. #25thAmendment https://t.co/sUJZZCfITL
— Jackie Speier (@RepSpeier) February 16, 2017
Speier is not the only Democratic member of Congress to suggest that Trump is unfit to continue serving as president. Earlier this week, Democratic Congressman Earl Blumenauer announced the creation of a “working group” to strengthen the 25th Amendment due what he sees as “erratic behavior out of the White House.”
Both are clearly attempting to imply President Trump is incapacitated because he is not mentally fit for office.

As Trump was preparing to address an audience in Florida on Saturday afternoon, in a speech which Reuters summarized as "returning to the campaign trail to attack the media again and tout his accomplishments in the friendly atmosphere of a rally with supporters", a group of supporters gathered for a pro-President Trump rally in downtown Atlanta armed with semi-automatic weapons.
"We're using our second amendment rights to protect the first amendment rights," Chris Hill said.
"Throughout the day we're going to have more people, more Trump supporters come to this corner, showing their support for President Trump. We are going to make sure that these people are safe and have the right to have their voices heard without fear of violence or intimidation from any opposing groups."
