Among those who were unimpressed with his response? Fox News’ Shepard Smith, who didn’t hold back when reacting.

“It’s crazy what we’re watching everyday. It’s absolutely crazy. [Trump] keeps repeating throwaway lines that are not true at all, and sort of avoiding this issue of Russia as if we’re some kind of fools for asking the question.”

Smith then stared into the camera, almost to address Trump directly: “No sir, we are not fools for asking the question, and we demand to know the answer to this question. You owe this to the American people.”

And, now, we sit back and wait for the liberals praising Shep for today’s rant to go back to calling Fox News a right-wing echo chamber tomorrow.
