Trump blaming everybody and not taking any responsibilty!
He's pointing at the press, Obama, polls and Democrats. He's rehashing old talking points from his campaign and still bragging about his election numbers, massive crowds of adoring fans, and pathetically whining that everyone is treating him unfairly.

ETA: The 'Obama Precedent' is blaming your predecessor for the problems that you now face. However, in President Trump's case, it's correct.

I heard it very differently. I heard the President tell the truth about everything and, said he would love bad press, too, as long as it was honest. That's the part they can't handle.
It was a brilliant press conference. CNN may as well not bother to show up. They are a clown show now. Second class tabloids in the supermarket checkout lines have more respectability than CNN.
I can't stop smiling.

I agree he inherited a mess but I hope this is the only time he mentions that. It was the battle cry for most of obama's 2 terms, I don't want Trump to fall into that mode. I'd much prefer see him fixing the mess than continue to complain about it.

The public could use a thorough education on exactly what the Obama character did against this nation and exactly what it is going to take to repair the damage. The public needs to know that President Trump could be doing other things if he didn't have to save the nation from the last administration's purposeful harm and destruction.

I think he needed to do it. The MSM press is back with the horror stories on the state of the country that were sorely lacking when obumbles was in office. It needed to be said and the MSM needs to be put on notice that their lies will no longer be tolerated.

I would like the state of the country fixed as well. The fact remains that the MSM has lied for the last 8 years and now want to lay it all on President Trump and he is not going to take that. It needed to be said and he needs to keep pointing out the MSM lying ways.

Yes I agree. Unfortunately the first thing that needs to be done is inform the MSM that their lies and covering for the dems is how we got into this mess in the first place and those days are over.
Either these idiots start reporting the truth or President Trump is going to beat them over the head with it.
Personally if Trump does nothing else but get the illegal alien problem under control and gets the MSM to be more fair in reporting I will consider it a win.

I agree that he should point out that there is a lot of clean-up to do. It just shouldn't become a refrain like it did with Obama.
"Obamafail is a colossal failure, and we're going to fix it, and here's how." Say it once, say it forcefully, and then get on with the business of doing what he said he was going to do. Broadly-speaking, it appears that he is generally following this formula, which is fine with me.
In the same vein, I think he probably needs to dial it back a little bit on harping on the press. I get it, and I agree with him, but too much of that will eventually make the press look sympathetic. He's gotten the message out there; it's OK for him to let surrogates carry the ball on beating the MSM about the head and neck for a while. If he keeps doing that, it winds up sounding like whining, just like it sounded like whining when Obama blamed everything from a bad economy to his dog shitting on the carpet on "the previous administration."
