In the aftermath of Michael Flynn’s resignation as the president’s National Security Adviser, many speculated that a House Oversight Committee investigation might follow. However, news is breaking that the House Oversight Committee will not open an investigation.

House Oversight Committee Chairman Jason Chaffetz(R-Utah) said Tuesday that his panel won’t investigate the circumstances that led to Michael Flynn stepping down Monday as President Trump’s national security adviser.
