There's not a big difference between fat and thin people
At least in terms of what they eat. The difference between me weighing 160 pounds and 360 pounds is about 1000 calories a day. I'm a 5'10" mostly sedentary 44 year old male. That's a Big Mac and a side of fries a day.
People think that if you are obese you must be eating twice as much as someone who is thin. I've weighed as much as 356 pounds and it turns out I was actually averaging about 3000 calories a day.
More talk about losing weight later. I'm typing from my phone now. BTW, thanks for the hearts. It feels good to be loved!
"Just" an entire meal extra a day separates the fat from the skinny! Tubs, you are an idiot. Only someone as obese as you could try to sweep an entire extra meal under the rug. That's a thousand extra calories a day, if you just stick with a medium side of fries and the Big Mac- nothing else.
So Tubs, the only thing separating you and I is a mere 365,000 calories extra a year that you don't think is "that much". You are a colossal (in every sense of the the word) idiot.

Something tells me Tubbs has way more than a Big Mac and Fries going down his pie hole.

If you eat 3k calories a day and weigh 350 pounds, the answer is obvious. get off your dead ass and move around.
It also slays me how he ignores the obvious. 3k calories from a big mac and fries is a lot different than 3k calories from chicken breast and apples.
I'm a 180 pound fat guy now... I used to be a 250 pound fat guy.. so I know how this works. if you don't move around, you have to survive on about 1500 calories a day or guess what? you get fat again
have fun with that, diabeto

Mostly sedentary?

I'm sorry, I laughed so hard at this excuse that 5000 calories came out my asshole. So I'm all good on doing any physical activity for the rest of the week.

I hate to tell you fat ass but with what you describe your lifestyle as,3000 calories/day is twice what you should be eating.

How about this, avoid fast food altogether. One of the easiest ways for me to avoid fast food was to go online and look at the nutrition information for their menu items. Once you realize the amount of garbage calories you suck in at these places you tend to stay away from them. At least in my case that is true.

I've had to become obsessive about it... being fat and learning I am now diabetic. My eating habits before could have put tubby tobin to shame, I'm sure of it.
When I was threatened with daily insulin injections, I changed my damned tune.
I have a post-it note on the windshield of my car inside with my current weight written on it in sharpie. Every time I even THINK about pulling into a drive-thru, I look at that note. Nope. Aint hapnin....
I'll always be a fat guy at heart, and I'll always have sympathy for overweight people.. it's tough.. but I won't excuse it. I have really bad habits and I have to fight it all day, every day. Damnit, I love food, plus bad genes... diabetes sucks, and so does being overweight.

I'm 5' 8", 156 lbs and I'm having trouble maintaining weight, let alone gaining some.
*Weighed over 200 about 6-7 years ago.
