Principal says Trump is worse than 9/11 terrorist attacks
http://www.foxnews.com/opinion/2017/02/10/principal-says-trump-is-worse-than-911-terrorist-attacks.html
The principal of a fancy New York City private school says the election of President Trump is worse than the September 11, 2001 terrorist attacks.
Steve Nelson, principal of the Calhoun School, fired off a hate-filled email to parents blasting the president. He also said Trump's election would be more devastating than Vietnam, Watergate and the assassination of the Rev. Martin Luther King, Jr.
Worse than 9/11??????????????????? 3,000 people got killed that horrible day.
Equating Donald Trump election with 9/11 is really a stretch and offensive to people who lost loved ones on that horrible day! :wtf2: :mental:
No wonder why our public school systems are so abyssmal. :mental:

If the election of Donald Trump has done nothing else, it has shown everyone how deranged the left truly is.

Ptarmy, re-read the first line of your quote. :whistling:

LIBERALISM is truly a mental illness.
Right before our eyes, the Democrat Party crybabies and bed-wetters are transforming themselves into an illegitimate and insignificant third party.
Happy days are here again!!

I edited it.

I concur that public schools, systemically, are abysmal, but I think you misunderstood BSS.
Among private schools there are some that are as uber-PC as PSs are, if not more so. Evidently this is one of them. Being a private school, this principal may have the right to say what he did using the school's email system and list of parents' email addies. Whether he was within his rights is up to his employer. A PS principal doing this would have violated the law (whether those laws would be enforced is, sadly, a separate and different question). Another, interesting, question is how parents will respond. Will some call for consequences? Will some transfer their munchkins out of that school? Or are all the parents good with this character's craziness and potential ideological abuse?

Yup, you're right--the dissonance between a private school doing something and Ptarmy's statement (factual, to be sure) about public schools.
