So ultimately what can we do?
As the Republicans violate the rules of congress to slam their nomiees through what can the people do to stop this?
I will call my congressman and congress people in my state but I feel helpless.
At what point are we at the General Strike level?
Excuse me. Excuse me, please. I have a question.
What rules of Congress have the Republicans violated?
Please do tell.

1. We are PAST the General Strike area...
The protests this past weekend were a start, but far from being enough...we need millions in the streets, we need Nationwide Wild Cat work stoppages. We are watching a coup take place right in front of our eyes, Trump and company keeping us off balance, and laughing as we take our eyes off the ball....IE, when was the last night you heard any real news about his income tax returns, his ties to Russia, and the Russian hacking of our election? Let alone Comey who has dropped off the news cycles. We have got to rise up and be counted before be are beaten into submission.

4. I tend to agree
but the energy doesn't seem to be there. People don't seem to recognize how dire this situation actually is.
If there were starting to be a nationwide call for a wildcat strike I would strongly support it. We need to shut this shit down before it gets MUCH worse and it will if we don't act.

2. We Oppose Everything
No compromise, no partnership, nothing but opposition
Yeah.
That's the way, that's the Democrat way.
It's been the Democrat way ever since, well, since forever.

3. Resistance is not futile.
This is not the Borg we're dealing with. Take a lesson from Picard.
<<<still curious.
What rules of Congress have Republicans violated?
-
Also, aren't the rules for the various chambers pretty much written by the majority party?
Which party is in the majority, again? :whistling:
-
Your idiot congresscritters were not showing up for work.

The USC gives the houses of Congress the authority to create/change the respective houses' operating rules. Not that DU-folk know or care.

Nice to see Ds continuing their tradition that dates back to G. H. W. Bush's administration (and to Reagan's to a lesser degree).

Newsflash to Dummies and leftists everywhere. Re: Donald Trump's tax returns. Donald Trump is a millionaire. He pays more in a month to tax accountants than you DUmmies will ever collect from welfare in a lifetime. He probably paid zero or very little the last time he filed taxes. That is why they are paid so much. If you idiots want to get in a circle jerk to celebrate this go ahead. Just be careful of STD's.

For a general strike to be effective, you slackers would have to have meaningful jobs that provide goods or services we could not do without.
-
Well, the cabinet nominees seem to be going through okay without any Democrats.
There's a lesson in this for them, the Democrats, liberals, and primitives: be sincerely and honestly willing to work with us, and you may get a say in some of the things.
Bullheadedly oppose, and you get nothing.

Keep shitting your pants.
If you need advice on this, ask Pam.

Take advantage of Jukin's kind and generous offer of free single edged razor blades.
At what point are we at the General Strike level?
What are you gonna do, quit going out to your mailbox to get your gibsmedat checks?
Speaking of which, remember how pissed the DUchebags were when Reagan's death caused the gibsmedat checks to show up a day late?
-
Primitives, here is what you can do, summed up in emoticons.
:panic: :jerkit:

DUmmies don't understand and never will.
People saw that the US was in dire straits, and did something about it. They voted against that scrunt Hillary, and elected President Trump.

Well DUmmie, that answer has been crystal clear for you since November 8: Do something!! :panic: :panic: :panic:

So were the Flee-Bagger Dem committee members following your sacrosanct "rules of Congress" by failing their duty to show up for the hearing and instead holding a photo op down the hall, DUmmy??? Do you really want to go there?

Oh, the insane former rock-climber physics teacher from Wisconsin

you could always call in sick at the private high school you teach at and see how well that goes over

You guys really shouldn't be putting down the DUmmie general strike idea. If you remember, it worked when they did it on W. Granted, it took 8 long years, but they finally succeeded in getting him out of office.
