3. Congress also needs to enact a temporary ban on Congress

Congress is led by Republicans, and they're gonna rubberstamp Trump's executive orders.

5. Enough of them will oppose the muslim ban

The outrage over this is coming from not only Democrats but Independents, Evangelicals, veterans, active duty military, etc. The level of pressure to lawmakers will be overwhelming and from all sides. They will have no choice.

There IS NO PRESSURE coming from Independents, Evengalicals, veterans or active duty military. The only pressure is coming from insignificant websites like DU who think they think for the rest of America. Suck it.

4. AGREE Congress needs to enact a temporary ban on executive orders

Can they do that?
If so how can we get them to do that.

No, they can't. Suck on it.

6. I think they will end up trying to do something

They don't like being by-passed and have their power taken away, so even Republicans are going to get sick of this happy horseshit.

Jugears Three-putt took congress power away for 8 years. Congress couldn't say anything lest they be called "racist".

7. Their silence so far on EOs is deafening

Trump is REALLY acting like he can just sit in the Oval Office and sign legally binding proclamations all day long. And whatever they can say about President Obama's EOs, they were limited and specific (and a large portion of his EOs were largely done because of frustration with Congressional inaction/obstruction)

Any yet, he CAN sit in the Oval office and sign them.

You want change? Win an election.

Liberals. Disgust. Me.

1.) Obama boasted of ruling by his pen; Trump is overruling Obama by his pen.

 :ownit:  and  :urmeds:

2.) As long as trump - or any President - confines his EOs to matters within his constitutional authority and existing laws, Congress has no authority to limit Presidential EOs, and can do little more than fume (those so inclined, of course).

Congress needs to enact a temporary ban on executive orders

Why stop there?  Why don't you geniuses demand Congress enact a permanent ban on Trump?

Liberals exemplify something my dad told me. For a person to be truly stupid, that person must not realize that he or she is truly stupid.

If said before, my dad's was: "The easiest people to fool are the ones that "think" they are smart."

And so it begins.

http://thehill.com/business-a-lobbying/bill-to-repeal-president-donald-trump-immigration-order-ban

From the article:

Quote
Sen. Dianne Feinstein (D-Calif.) will introduce two bills on Monday in response to President Donald Trump’s recent executive action that imposes a temporary travel ban on nationals from seven Muslim-majority countries.

“The first bill immediately rescinds the order. The second limits executive authority under the Immigration and Nationality Act,” the Judiciary Committee ranking member wrote on Twitter Sunday.

That bill's going nowhere, and I think DiFei may yet be sufficiently lucid to know that. It's just a publicity stunt to get headlines on page A-5 and a 5 second mention  on the evening news.

I was just struck with a really monumentally stupid leftist type stunt. Can we send Twinkies to Feinstein?  The ones from the former hostess union bankrupt but now made by Little Debbie, not a bunch of leftist PJ boys.

But their hypocrisy, OTOH, never disappoints.

Obama: I'll review every Bush executive order with my AG & overturn any that violate Constitution

DENVER - Maybe it’s his background teaching constitutional law. If elected president, Democratic White House hopeful Barack Obama said one of the first things he wants to do is ensure the constitutionality of all the laws and executive orders passed while Republican President George W. Bush has been in office.

Those that don’t pass muster will be overturned, he said.

During a fund-raiser in Denver, Obama — a former constitutional law professor at the University of Chicago Law School — was asked what he hoped to accomplish during his first 100 days in office.

“I would call my attorney general in and review every single executive order issued by George Bush and overturn those laws or executive decisions that I feel violate the constitution,” said Obama.

Do DUmmies even understand that a bill in Congress has to pass 3 approvals to become law.  That would be the House of Representatives, the U.S. Senate.   Any guesses who the final signature is?  Bueller, anyone?   DU is full of the biggest bunch of window-lickers I've ever seen.  (My apologies to window-lickers)

Five, really, since it has to get reported out of committee before it makes it to that floor vote in either house.

Barack Obama used executive orders. They are not permanent either.

I'm not a doctor but I did stay at a Holiday Inn Express.

I say, don't worry about it.

Enjoy!
