Directed to our resident expert on DU Jr., but if anybody else knows, please feel free to comment.
Given that since its return from under the seas, Skins's island has been utterly insipid, dull, and uninspiring, I'd hoped that DU Jr. could pick up some of the slack.
Unfortunately it hasn't, because while those dissenting from the rigid Democrat, liberal, and primitive orthodoxy showed up there after DU Jr. itself recrudesced, only one or two or three primitives did.
My good friend the buzzy one can't carry the whole left field all by himself.
And besides, DU Jr. was more entertaining when there were lots of primitives on board.
How come they never came back?
One can understand why Lamond didn't, as he's got some explaining to do about some of his rash pre-election talk and being a coward doesn't want to do it, but it's really too bad other bona fide primitives haven't gone back, or if they have, only for one-time cameo appearances.

1) a lot of these DI libs do not like dealing with cons, especially now that they are not in a position of power (it is easy to bully when you have presidential power behind you.). the cons have always been fearless in defense of truth, but now we have the force of power behind us.
2) the same old crap doesn't work anymore. bogus polls are greeted with, 'Is that the same poll that said Hillary was ahead by 12 points?' propaganda pieces are greeted with, 'Fake news!' without a taxpayer paid presidential office, the talking points just aren't coming as fast as before.
3) Trump himself. the standard rules of political warfare do not apply to him. unlike every other republican before him, Trump will defend himself
4) conservative laughter. the cons are not getting offended by liberal snark.
5) the new jury system makes it difficult to swarm alert cons off the board. in spite of this, three posters (all libs) managed to get themselves voted off the island...JeffJenk, guyzilla, and satanica. cons just don't give up and flame out like the libs do.
6) the paid Hillbot trolls are no longer being paid. they won't post for free.
Bottom line: power. before 11/08/16 libs had the power...now they don't.

That's a very good analysis, far more than what I'd hoped to get, but who am I to complain?
I'd suspected the lack of bona fide primitives on DU Jr. was due to their discouragement, their disheartenment, about the elections, but surely they should be over that by now.
I mean, any reasonable adult would be.
My problem is, because Skins's primitives and Manny's primitives seem at the moment utterly boring and uninspiring, I'd hoped to use DU Jr. for material.
The buzzy one is no intellectual midget, but he's hardly a match for hordes of decent and civilized people; he needs help from his side there. And besides, as you know and understand, sir, the buzzy one is one of only four primitives franksolich leaves alone in peace and quiet.
It's probably hopeless to expect the loud-mouthed bombasting Lamond to return, but does one suppose it's possible to get at least Jugs back over there, posting?
[For those unaware, franksolich used to post there-a long time ago now--but did something unforgiveable and was banned from DU Jr. for life.]

They are not even good chew toys in their utter ignorance.
I have to admit that Buzz is one of a very few that can actually discuss things.

I'm not as well-acquainted with the cast of characters over there, as I am with Skins's primitives and Manny's primitives. But Jugs needs to get back on board there.

With the exception of a handful--KMOD, sheshe, and LMPV--the Hillarybots have stayed away from DI since it reopened. The lefties still there seem to primarily be Afterberners who, while retardedly embracing socialism, at least are no fan of the Clintons.
It's actually a little disappointing that Satanica and Guyzilla are flagged for review. Their OPs were always good for a handful of anthrax-related shitposts. :whistling:

I was posting there, then actually made a post that made me stop going there at all.
I pointed out that pretty much all of the libtard posts went like this:
"A robber killed a security guard yesterday while robbing a bank then stole a car and drove away. Donald Trump tweeted/said he once drove a car. Therefore Donald Trump killed a security guard yesterday."
I (and Mr. Mann and others) would then point out this is a fallacy of several orders and the response is "nope, here is the quote from Trump saying he drove a car. That proves I am right."
When I finished that post I realized it was impossible to have a discussion with people who never graduated 1st grade in the ability to think and reason.
Thus, the hell with them. I didn't delete my account or go off in a huff. I just ceased posting and even looking over there.

The buzzy one has frail, weak, thin shoulders, though, possibly a birth defect, so life probably hasn't been a piece of cake for him.
This other one is truly unfortunate, with no eyebrows and being enormous to boot, but he does nothing, nothing at all, to "compensate" for it, and so deserves no pity, no compassion, no understanding.

I only recently started noticing a certain phenomenon, and so don't know if it's been around for a while.
It seems the left members of DU Jr. tend to go there in a group late at night, when apparently there's no right members around?
Or am I just seeing things?
If this is actually the case, perhaps I should join, so as to ensure the right is adequately represented all hours of the day and night. There's a pesky matter of Skins letting me back in, but perhaps if I talked nice to him and promised to be good--well, it can't hurt to ask.
