How is everybody coping so far?
Trump has officially been POTUS for a week now and it's as bad as we all imagined (if not worse) but my blood pressure spikes and my heart hurts for the people he and his Trumpublican Party have hurt, are hurting, and will hurt before this nightmare is all over. I just don't know how I'm going to last for 4 more days, let alone 4 more YEARS of this. How is everybody else managing?

3. I have been in a negative funk all week
I see everything in a negative light. I'm paranoid. One night I took 1/2 xanax after a beer. I yelled at my husband and lost patience with my pets. I walk around with a lump in my throat. Hard to focus on work.
The march last Saturday was thrilling. Other than that I just wanna be out of here.

7. Not well
Despair, fact finding, activism, escapism. I cycle through those spaces, being unable or unwilling to occupy any one of them for sustained periods of time. It's still early to work through a shock as massive and menacing as this.

10. Major anxiety attacks and depression.
I'm having major anxiety attacks, and have been on anti-depressants since the inauguration. Even though I'm Canadian.
This is a classic effect of 4th Generation Warfare. The psychological assaults disrupt your perception of reality. They instill uncertainty, bewilderment, confusion, fear, a loss of trust and even despair. Sound familiar?
We've been bombarded with what amount to "reality bombs".
These feelings are not accidental - they're choreographed.
Who are they being choreographed by, and why?
The who is the FSB, acting through Bannon and Trump.
For the why, please please please Google "Alexander Dugin".
This is what WWIII feels like in the 21st century.

I wonder....how much longer do I have? My husband thinks I am spring cleaning. What I am really doing is getting rid of as much of my stuff as I can so he won't have to do it after I die. I stay busy getting ready to go, thats how I cope.

I am pretty sure it is due to "Trump stress" and not being able to sleep. Even when I do sleep, my dreams are filled with anxiety and fear so that it feels like I hadn't slept at all. Bottom line: not well.

37. I'm on my phone now
Computer froze up this AM, so I turned it off. I think being off the computer is helping today. Less obsessed.
I've been obsessed, anxious, overwhelmed. I don't mind writing/calling congress critters over single issues, but I feel there is an avalanche of issues. From Trump's trashy nominees, trashing of agencies, Breitbart in the Oval Office, Russia connections.
If a normal R had won, I would be focusing Obamacare etc. Instead I'm contacting congress critters to help control a crazy in WH.

41. I'm waiting for his order to kill select Americans
You all can sense it coming. The guy is shaping up to be the dictator I 100% expected him to be. Murder of perceived enemies comes next after jailing does not silence his opposition.
I am just resigned to the fact that America as we knew it is over and not returning.

23. Other than the overwhelming joy inspired by the Women's March.
I heartily thank you all for that shaft of light in my otherwise dimming existence.
My belief in Karma has totally evaporated... Leaving me without any sort of a spiritual guidepost.
And, well... Everything else is crap. Pretty much sums it up. Currently.
What a sad admission. No spiritually besides a belief in leftist politics and hopes for political enemies to suffer.

I wake up every morning like a small child on Christmas and run to the computer and check out Drudge to see what presents Santa Trumpaus has brought me today.
I have not been disappointed at all. No sweaters or socks so far!

Whoa, I do exactly the same thing, upon arising running to check to see what Drudge has left us.
It's all been good, great, wonderful, so far, but one has to remember there's probably going to be speed-bumps down the road, and to not get too bothered by those.
But man, every single morning without exception since November 8, it's been an uninterrupted streak of nothing but good news, great news.

Ok, guilty admission here. Donald Trump wasn't my pick. That's not a surprise, I've mentioned it before.
Here's the surprise; I was going to vote for Hillary Clinton UNTIL, Donald Trump said that he was going to put a knife to the throat of all the gays, fags, trans, blacks, Mexicans, (anyone who doesn't look like me), people.
As soon as that happened, I was an instant Donald Trump fan. I couldn't believe I'd finally found a candidate who actually represented ME!
God bless DT!!!

It's actually redundant.

Funny you should mention that.
Just yesterday, I donated blood for the first time in a really long time (I often missed the drives they held in the past due to my schedule, and was occasionally turned down for minor health reasons, such as a low iron- count or a pulse that's too high).
When I donated yesterday, I was approved with everything normal. Upon personally looking at their recordings of my health stats, I found that my pulse (Which is often slightly higher than normal) was the lowest it had been in years, the first time I could remember it being below 90 bpms! My blood pressure and iron- count were perfectly normal, too.
Perhaps this election has actually been good for my health!

Keep that up and it'll be a race between your husband's divorce lawyer and the undertaker!

So far I've written my senators about: Republicans killing folks with the repeal (and hokey "replace"; voting "no" on Betsy Devos (made 4 phone calls on that-two senators had 'full mailboxes') voting "no" on Scott Pruitt.
I already am a monthly donor to the ACLU. I have given donations to Planned Parenthood and a rare phone donation to "Progressive Priorities".

We'll be keeping tabs, and particularly close tabs on the biggest dissenters.
Primitives like Hopalong BOb, who will become intimately familiar with the phrase "Arbeit macht frei", and will finally find freedom from his tormented mind through work. A good job for Bob would be pushing a wheelbarrow full of dirt, from one end of a field to the other.
As a bonus, any child seeing Bob's telltale footprints will finally be able to easily answer that riddle from childhood of "What left these tracks?":

It must really be heart wrenching to realize that for the first time, there is no immediate prospect of people being forced to give a single damn what you suck or what you put where.
No, really, we don't give a single shit.
